SOURCE: emedia guitar method 1

Using a previous compatibility mode would be a stop-gap solution. The permanent fix would be to upgrade the software to a Windows XP compatible version.

Can I find out the production date of my Peavey T-60 guitar by the serial # 01184865? I previously accidentally left out a 1 in the number. Need a manual and fixed bridge.

You could try Googleing it, if you havn't already. Another method I've used on other guitars was to carfully remove the neck from the rest of the guitar. Manufacturers often put the production year on a tag or even printed directly on the wood body under the interfacing part of the neck. Some risk= "what if I damage my guitar?"

Gibson serial #122506 what year was it made?

This is tricky because Gibson duplicated serial numbers in different years on different models, and the serial number by itself does not give the model.

If the serial number is on the headstock, but not the place of manufacture, your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant, MI, USA in 1963.

If definitely a Les Paul Classic the guitar was made at the
Nashville Plant, TN, USA in 1991 or in 2001 (see what I mean?)

If the serial number is on the headstock, along with "Made in USA", the guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Or Nashville Plant, USA in 1970, 1971 Or 1972.

Frustrating eh?

If you need to get closer than this with a professional appraisal you could try sending photos and details (plus a fee) to

Emedia guitar master not able to run after installation

Windows® Vista Error on launch:
“Director Player has stopped working” or “Macromedia Projector has stopped working” Most likely this problem is solved with the following steps:
  1. Click the “Start” menu and launch “Computer” from the right hand panel
  2. Navigate to the eMedia Guitar Master installation directory (typically this is inside your C: drive > “Program Files” folder)
  3. Navigate to the “Xtras” folder within your “eMedia Guitar Master” folder
  4. Delete the file called “SequenceXtra_1_9.x32”
Launch Guitar Master. It should open properly.
If the above solution fails to eliminate the problem, take the following additional steps:
  1. Click on the “Start” menu and navigate into the folder to the eMedia application.
  2. Right-click on the program icon and select “Properties.”
  3. In the box that pops up, select the “Compatibility” tab.
  4. Check the box “Disable visual themes.”
  5. If you can, check the box “Run this program as an administrator.”
  6. Click “Apply” and then click “OK.”
If you continue to experience problems with Vista, please make sure that your system is up to date. Download the latest updates for your operating system at support.microsoft.com. Get the latest version of QuickTime at www.apple.com/quicktime/download.
