These bikes seems safe and good fo an everyday ride. Seems like the seat is a little hard but as a biker I can tell you that you can get used to it.
You can read more reviews about it here:

Hope this helps!

Check out these.. An "R" (race) compound tire is what you are looking for.. they will wear faster..but ..they will "keep the rubber side down".. and you safe.. Here is a selection. (I prefer Pirelli or Michelin)... and only use matched sets!

How much weight will I lose using an exercise bike?

Exercisebikes are a really good way of losing weight without having to show up at thegym! It depends on your weight etc but on average, 15 minutes of cycling withburn about 170 calories. But an effective routine should last around 45-60minutes.

Your fuel mixture is set too rich. You need to adjust it so that it burns leaner but you don't want to make it so lean that the bike has overheating problems. That should also smooth out your acceleration. If you have a dry clutch, check for oil contamination on the plates. If they're contaminated address what caused it and you may be able to re-use the plates after soaking them in gasoline for a while to remove the oil. Good luck and safe riding.

When do i change the belt? miles?

Been using before a scooter, Preferably changing the belt is actually depends on how you use your bike everyday i.e, you use it to go to work or use it as a utility vehicle. If you are just using the bike just to go to work I can say that you change the belt when it reaches 6 to 8 months, and if you are using it as a utility vehicle and carries a lot of loads everyday my advise is change it every after 2 to 3 months just to make sure.

Looking for fenders for a Diamondback Serene Citi Classic, 17" frame and 26"wheels.

Order at your local bike shop, fenders are usually universal, not brand specific just need the right size, and they can install them too for a nominal fee. They usually are in stock.

I would use lithium grease on all the electrical connections including plug and coil. The lithium still transfers the electricity but keep condensation and moisture out. You may see some of this grease on many light bulb connections on cars and mabey your bike already has some of this.
