I don't think you can. The reason is that subtitles are part of the content offered by the producer of the program. Spanish TV programs just don't add English subtitles to their programs for you to access. It costs money to do so. As the English speaking film industry is far larger, some go the extra distance to offer such in order to be able to export films to other countries.
Generally, if you remove the battery and leave it in the charger over night, the internal breakers should reset. If not return it to Sears for a replacement. (The drill)
