- Having the same problem with my iphone. Screen freezes up & becomes unresponsive, especially when I tap the Settings icon - all I get is a white screen then I have to hold both buttons in simultaneously to hard boot it. Then it takes forever to initialize (I've now been trying to get it to initialize to AT&T for over 30 minutes. It keeps saying..... "searching". I hate this phone.- Guest

if u hold down the turnoff key and the middle key it resets
