One of your screens have either come loose at their connection or the screen is faulty which means a new screen. Just hope its the bottom one as the top screen requires some patience to replace.

Hi, so if you try switching on the ds lite, nothing at all happens ?? Does the green light flash even if it is for like a split second.If it does then it is more likely top be a blown fuse. If 1 of your screens flicker also, this could be your problem as the ds will not start up with a broken screen. Please advise
When you say it doesn't turn on does the green light come on at all?
If the green light stays on for 1-2secs then you should see one of the screens flash, if that happens then you will need to replace the screen that doesn't flash. If you need to replace the top screen follow this guide, or if you need to replace the bottom screen follow this guide.
If there is no green light at all then the chances are the "F2" fuse has blown. To replace the fuse follow this guide.

If the green light reacts as you state then the chances are the fuses are fine.
Again, with the reaction of the green light being as you stated i'm going to assume you have a problem with one of your screens, tell me... when the green light comes on does one of the screens flash? If it does then we have found the answer...
The screen that doesnt flash is the one with the problem, you can try taking the DS lite apart and re-connecting the screens ribon to see if that sorts it, if it doesnt then im afraid you will have to buy a new screen. These can befound on ebay for a reasonable price.
I have written some guides on how to change your screens and how to disassemble the DS lite, these will guide youthrough the processes you need to take. These can be found by clicking on my name and then scrolling down to "tips and tricks", press the "view all" to see all of them and find what you need.
Try removing the motherboard from the screens and attach the battery the green light should turn on and stay on.
Now attach the lower screen and turn on. If the screen is ok the screen and green light will flash and then turn off. (if the screen doesn't flash the bottom screen is you're problem and will have to be replaced)
If this happens the problem is then you're top screen which you will have to replace.
well go to your battery store or what ever has ds battery packs buy a knew one it is because your battery cant charge anymore so get a new one and it should work otherwise send it off to nintendo
