SOURCE: Setting the date on a Guess G95290G

When you pull the dial out, you can pull it out into two different settings. One will allow you to set the clock/time. The other will allow you to set the date (the day of the month). It took me a while to figure this out as well, even witht he manual.

Your problem is caused by the fact that the watch is 12 hours out of step.

Wind your watch forward 12 hours, reset the date if you need to and you watch will then change around midnight.

(if you need to change the date more than one day, when it has past the change time, wind it back and then forward to step the date forward. You may have to experiment to see how far past the change point (in both directions).

You should have a button above the crown which you push to change the month. The crown is a 2 position crown.....if you pul it all the way out you can set the time, but if you push it in just half way, you can change the day and date by either turning the crown backwards or forwards. Good luck

My analog Guess watch has a date display only (no day). I have re-set the date over and over, but it changes the date at noon instead of at midnight.

I can't set the day in my guess g13534g

Hi, You just have to release the crown out then keep on moving the crown clockwise untill you get the right date. You only have to set this once then it will keep the correct day for you as expected. Make sure you have the right time and date once you are done.

How do you change the date on gc watch? product code is I47000G1. Thanks

again, like most other watches, pull the crown to the first position and turn clockwise or anti-clockwise, it depends which movement is inside the watch (in the second position you can set the time)
...shouldn't be so tricky....

Change the day of the week

Most watches have a stem that you pull out to set the time. The little knob on the end of the stem is called a crown. For a day/date watch, there are two clicks. The first click when you pull out the stem is the day / date setting, the second click sets the time.

When you are on the first click, twisting the crown one direction changes the day of the week; twisting the other direction changes the date. If yours has only the date, it could be either direction depending on the manufacturer.
