There is a bolt and not to tighten. Put a 1/2 nut drive tool between the front tire's 3 o'clock position and the tire fender. Tighten to add back the resistance.

Possibly take off the pane from inside and find the tailgate locking system. Could be a loosened nut, where the nut was used to hold up the bracket behind the key lock of the tailgate. If so get the nut back in place, tighten it up, make sure the other nuts are tight as well. I hope this helps. Other solutions could be calling a locksmith since they would know a lot about locks or a mechanic but we all know they will charge you a lot of money so just try what I said and hopefully that works.

Which way do i turn the nut to loosten the blade on a bosch gcm 800s compound saw?

I can't find a Bosch model GCM800 saw in their library but regardless; all arbor nuts, bolts, etc. that hold on blades will loosen if you turn them in the same direction the blade spins when cutting. This makes them self tightening so the blade won't come off while in use.

My wiper blades are stuck up and won't go back down. Sounds like I can hear the motor trying to go.

each wiper arm has a nut at the base holding it on, make sure they are tight or it will just spin
if they are loose, shut off the wipers and move the arms back to the bottom and tighten the nuts
if nuts are tight check the linkage that hooks to the motor, it may have popped off

Saw will not tighten when wrenching center nut blade slips

Unplug the saw. Put the blade on and finger-tighten the nut. Then rest the blade on a piece of scrap wood so that it won't slip. Then tighten down the nut and you should be fine.

How do I remove the clamp on a FP5172 so I can replace the pump body. I have a small crack in the front of the pump body. Could I use some type of epoxy to seal the crack?

Once you remove the nut use a flat tip screwdriver to release the wedged-on band from the plastic housings. They sometimes stick pretty good if they were in service over many years so do not be afraid to work the band pretty hard if it won't budge at first.

When replacing the band use a mallet or similar tool to tap down the band as you retighten the nut. Each time the nut tightens down work the mallet around the band and tighten the nut some more. Continue this process until you can no longer tighten the nut after tapping down the band.

Lower ball joints. Tighten the pinch bolts to 69-85 ft. lbs. (93-115 Nm). Outer tie rod ends. Tighten the nuts to 43-58 ft. lbs. (59-78 Nm). Sway bar links. Tighten nuts to 69-85 ft. lbs. (93-115 Nm). Hub retaining nuts. Tighten the hub nuts to 177-199 ft. lbs. (240-270 Nm). Front wheels. Tighten the lug nuts to 65-79 ft. lbs. (88-108 Nm).

Need help with adjusting trans on a 98 Ford

Go to the bottom of the shifter linkage loose the bolts holding the linkage put it in park manually by hand then adjust the nuts tightening the nuts please make sure car is in park before you tighten the nuts that should do it.

impact wrenches are often misused by those who don’t know about their special needs. First of all, it is very important to be careful when tightening a nut or bolt with an impact wrench! Cross threading can occur very easily; a novice may also over-torque a bolt or a nut if they don’t know when to stop. To prevent such problems, always be sure to hand-tighten every nut or bolt before using the impact wrench; if you try to start the nut or bolt with the impact wrench, you won’t be able to feel if the threads are crossed. If the impact wrench is not torque controlled – meaning it will stop when the nut or bolt is tightened to a certain torque – you will need to go slowly, and periodically check the torque value of the nut or bolt to make sure you haven’t tightened it too far.
