Inserting brads into my Stanley TR250 Staple Gun

I bought one of these guns today and I had the same problem and it took me about 2 hours to figure it out as the instructions were very poor. Here how to load the brad nails:-

(a) Pull the slider bar all the way out
(b) Place the brad nail stick on the left side, IN FRONT OF the slider, NOT in the narrow gap in front of the two arrows where it says "LOAD BRADS"
(c) The nail heads should be facing the handle of the gun
(d) Close the slider and lock it
(e) Try it out. I tried nailing hardboard onto chipboard. The lever at low power only put the nail in about 30%. On Hi power it went in about 80%.

Good Luck

Installing nail brad in a stapler

I have the same problem and the silly thing is I have used it. Ridiculous that you can't find a manual on it. Well, I have solved it!!!!

our problem is we open the stapler and stare straight down into the cavity. But if you angle it, you can see that there are grooves along the side which the head of the brads would hang and slide along.

1. on one side of the stapler it will say "load brad this side"
2. open the chamber and place the stapler on its side with the aforementioned side down
3 place your strand of brads in the appropriate groove and close the chamber
4 start shooting
