Dell precision 530 bios ssd

This is a little bit long shot, but check also if there is an updated firmware for the SSD (you will need access to another machine in order to upgrade it). I will look up if I find either a bios for the Dell that is working or another solution

P2120 does not recognize SSD

Did your SSD come with a driver CD? If so, install the driver on your LifeBook. If you do not have a driver, go to Computer => System => Device Manager, right click on the drive and select "Update Drive Software". If the drive is not in the list, and the drive is a USB drive, then go into the BIOS setup (typically press F2 on powerup) and enable USB drives.

Trying to start computer with SSD and HDD, NOT happening!

Have you tried going into the bios to see if the ssd is recognized and have the computer boot from the ssd So connect the drive and put your windows disk in and install to the ssd During the install it will scan for drives and ask which drive you want to install on Make sure you check the boot options in the bios to allow the connect drive

I see your point. But if I decide to place an SSD hard drive, will Windows 7 recognize the other hard drive which is not SSD? Please respond ASASP

Windows should not discriminate one way or the other. Just make sure both drives appear in BIOS first.

I guessing you want the OS on the SSD? Load it first, then treat the 750GB SATA as a secondary hd. Just a suggestion if it gives you problems.

Cannot install whs on ssd using flash drive

I would suggest cloning the OS install.
Install the OS on the 80GB SSD with the Foxconn board that is giving you troubles with the 40GB SSD. Then clone the drives and swap SSDs.
WHS 2011 probably will throw up a flag stating that it needs to be reactivated because of hardware changes, but it should go smoothly.

If the SSD card is designed for a Dell, then this card is a proprietary card that only works with Dell.
