Question about Sony KDS-60A3000 60" HDTV
I have used this TV with both over the air antenna and cable. Recently I switched back to an antenna. As I was performing an autoscan for channels, it gets up to 29 channels and then stops, the 'power' light blinks green, it makes a funny buzzing noise and then TV shuts off. Moments later it comes back on and acts as though it has not found any channels. I have gone through this cycle about a dozen times with the same results. I called Sony and walked through the same steps. Sony agent told me it may be a broken tuner. Does this sound right? If so, is this something I can replace on my own?

My kdf55wf655 did this for about a week until I put in a new Lamp. Working fine since then. Got it through Amazon from www.vanns.com.
