Question about Computers & Internet
Cooling fan intermitently operates when it wants to leading into overheating and shutdown. Is this a fan replacement or program issue ?
Fan/cooling grill is jammed with dust and yes perhaps needs to be replaced

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Sounds like when you had the computer apart you may have forgotten or knocked loose one of the wires going to the lcd screen or the lcd backlight...check for that condition.
If it was working fine before then that almost has to be the reason the lcd is not working
