SOURCE: Cub Cadet 1610 Drive Belt Diagram

Go to Cub Cadet. com and click parts. Type your model number 1610. You will see parts diagram. Click that. It will show a long list of parts to click on. Choose drive and it will show you a diagram of all the pulleys and how the belt looks. Hope this helps. I had the same problem.

SOURCE: I have a cub Cadet ltx1040 that the drive belt

I couldn't find anything online on how to do this so I had to figure it out myself. I drew a picture hope it makes sense.

1. Lift seat
2. Remove battery clip and battery
3. Remove metal battery receptacle, you will see the 3 drive belt pulleys throw the battery hole
4. Pull pulley 2 towards pulley 1 and run belt around all 3 pulleys as shown in the attached picture.91efb34.jpg

Craftsman 208 cc ohv engine on cub cadet 524 swe snowblower.Starts, dies, then fine for a while, then starts hard, might die when auger is engaged,.could rebuild carb, but I don't think thats it

Mine did the same thing, it was a valve guide pulling out of the head. That changed the valve gap and caused the problem you mentioned. The dealer said it was common with these motors.

I have a 2 blade cub cadet and it pushes snow like a blade but the fan part that blows snow out shoot is spinning. Why wont the agars spin?

The simple solution is the replaceable shear pins in the front auger have sheared. This is normal and protects the snow blower from major repairs. I suggest going to youtube and search "replace shear pins on Cub Cadet snow blower." There are a dozen videos that will help you troubleshoot and make the repair.

I have a Cub Cadet 522 WE snow blower, it start fine but the auger will not turn. I have checked and there is nothing in the way. What should I try next?

The transmission that moves the auger is the most likely problem. If the Auger is a hydrostatic drive check the fluid in the drive unit.

HOW TO O REPLACE A AUGER BELT ON CUB CADET SNOW THROWER BELT PART #954-04195A

Just generalizing. Take off the plastic cover between engine and Shoot. Most auger belts will not fit down between the Pulleys unless you loosen the bolts that hold the entire front assembly on. Once they are lose you can get the belt down there to get it around the large Pulley.

What is required to attach a MTD Snowblower model 190-032 to a ty4000 lawn tractor

That looks like a Cub Cadet part # for the Snow Blower.
You will absolutely need to customize a Belly bracket and Mule drive. Possibly find a Cub Cadet belly bracket and modify it to match your mounting points on the TY4000

Auger does not engage on Ariens Model 924121 sno- Thro

first check shear pins in the auger ( try to turn big auger by hand, engine off)
then if they are good then try to turn impeller by hand, engine off
youll need to turn it a few times before the larger ones turn, but thats what you want
if they dont turn then you have sheared the gear box gears
be sure belts are good tooo

Check this page,
Two stage snow blowers all tend to have sheer pins
I would suspect that the holes seen in the picture are for the sheer pin, check with club cadet, figure same as auger pins, if so feel for the hole with your finger then inser a short nail till you feel a rough spot then tap with a hammer till it comes out, otherwise you have to take the mess apart completely.
