SOURCE: 3-pole 60 Amp Circuit Breaker is tripped and won't reset.

check ot see if its on a shunt trip system. what it means is that in order to reset the breaker you have to see what made it trip. Look for a 115 volt breaker that is tripped in the panel that serves tha line. good luck.

SOURCE: How do you reset the microwave power? Is there an

There is an internal cartridge fuse, as well as thermal fuses. It is not recommended that you attempt any internal repairs on a microwave due to the presence of very high voltages and the danger of microwave radiation if not reassembled correctly. Residential microwaves, if not under warrranty, are generally considered disposable. Parts and service are very expensive.

Hi - I have the same issue. After talking to our local repair shop and asking if there is any thermocoupler or some kind of fuse that can be replaced I was told that it probably is a problem on the controller board. :(
Please post if anybody has an idea - thanks!

Help: 1994 Toyota land Cruiser: left turn signal works but when I turn the right turn signal on it blows the 7.5 amp fuse disabling the turn signals.

Hi Steven
Do the simple stuff first. Check the obvious points at which the circuit may get shorted. Light Bulbs and sockets. Wires in the boot or rear lamp area. Down the steering column. Follow harness to front then rear. Age of vehicle and how it's used may provide clues. Trailer Connector Wires & Connections to harness.
(Where could they Link Together)
If that fails
You need to isolate each circuit that is blowing a fuse and trace the fault to a location. Probably when you find the fault (ground short or wires shorted together) it will become obvious that the two separate circuits are linked.
So... start with the right turn signal

Finding Shorts It's a pain.... but.... here's the process!
Remove the Fuses that keep blowing.
Make up a long lead from the battery positive terminal.
Say 4 meters.
Add a cheap 5A or 10A circuit breaker in the lead wire.
Make a probe tip on the end of wire. (needle, pin. nail)
This saves you going through many fuses.
The circuit breaker simply resets when it cools.
The best way to locate the short is to Note the wire colour code (or use iPhone to take photo).
Supply power via the made up jumper & circuit breaker to the suspect circuit wire to prove that it blows the circuit breaker.
Then.... split the circuit in two...
Half way down the vehicle (say front door step) Lift the plastic trim off and find those colour coded wires.
Prove these are the wires by pushing sharp probe through the insulation. Circuit breaker blows....
Cut the wires. Try Rear wires vs Front wires and Determine if the short is in the Front section or the Rear section.
Then use the same process over again on the section which is faulty (shorting) Divide in two. until you narrow the short location down.
Keep in mind that the short could suddenly disapear if you get close & simply move the section with the bare (shorted) wire which touches the chassis or another wire.
Slip some heat shrink tubing over these cut wires and resolder them later. This is better than crimp terminals which may cause problems later.
Good Luck

I have a 1992 Toyota 4 runner and it keeps blowing the break light fuse and the turn signal fuse. I have checked all the basic things and I'm at a lose as to what it could be. Any suggestions?

start by making sure all bulbs are good for all lights if one is shorted that can cause your problem, the other are any of the bulb sockets corroded or green, chaffed wires, could water be a problem ?

My stove says error 3

Hi - Typically error code F3 indicates a faulty sensor probe or wiring harness between sensor probe and EOC. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the circuit breaker off for two minutes (this usually will clear most false error codes). Turn on the range and if resetting the unit proves to be ineffective, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately.

3) if the problem persist, test the power cord for open or faulty
4) test the main switch for open or faulty and replace
5) reset de c.breaker for tripped
6) replace the fuse blown inside of machine see the block attached.
7) try again will be worl,
8) however if the problem persist, you have problem with the power supply see the block d. capacitor, transformer, coil, etc call some tech profesional or replace . m.board.

Sounds like either a circuit breaker or a fuse. Anything like this has fail safes on it like breakers or fuses. Check it out carefully bossibly a cover to open to epose blown fuse or tripped breaker. If like my Wavetek meter you must take it apart ot get at the fuse, not hard or expensive, just don't lose any pieces and remember how it came apart.

Po123 04 kai

Hello www_ropesmor,

This code P0123 is Throttle position sensor circuit high input.

There four basic reasons for this code.

1. An open or short to ground between the TPS (throttle position sensor) and the ECM (Engine control module).
2. A short to battery voltage between TPS and the ECM.
3. A short between the TPS wires.
4. A faulty TPS.

See below for connector diagrams.

First, with scan tool monitor TPS with throttle closed voltage should be
I f you don't have a scan tool, back probe terminal 1with a volt meter to ground and you will see the voltage as outlined above otherwise follow the steps below.

1.Check to see if there is about 5 volts at the TPS; with engine off key on disconnect the TPS back probe the harness side terminal 3 to ground with a volt meter if there is about 5 volts go to step 2 if about 5 volts if not repair the 5 volt circuit.

2. Probe the harness side terminal 2 to chassis ground with a volt meter, if voltage above .02 repair circuit 2 short to voltage. If voltage is .02 volts or below go to step 3.

3. Probe the harness side terminal 1 to ground with volt meter if below .5 volts go to step 4 if not repair short to battery between TSP harness and ECM connector

4 Turn the ignition off and disconnect the ECM connector . With an ohm meter measure the resistance between the ECM (terminal C18) and TPS ground circuit it should be below 1 ohm. Measure the resistance between the ECM (terminal C8) and TPS signal circuit it should be below 1 ohm. If not repair the open circuit.

After faulty circuit is found and repaired clear code and verify repair.

Power Probe III

dear Mark,

the screen shows "CB", not C8. Stands for Circuit Breaker. This means you have overloaded your Power Probe 3 and the internal thermal fuse has blown. You can simply reset it by pushing the button on the right hand side of the Power Probe.
