No spark at plug

Remove small kill wire to coil see if it will start if so you will need to find where this wire is grounding out.

How is the rear wheel of a Hayter Heritage removed?

most of them have a split ring or snap ring that needs removed then the wheel just slides off . manu rust in place and need persuasion to get off .BRUTE FORCE

Sounds like the fuel system need to be cleaned out. I woudkl also check for grass clogs and a sharp blade.

Briggs instructions

Locate the drain plug on the bottom or side of the engine (might have a drain pipe attached to it) remove plug let oil completely drain screw off filter and replace (if equipped) refer to manual or Google and find out how much oil the engine holds (maybe around a quart) replace oil check for leaks and go mow your grass

2001 heritage softail that won't start, please HELP!!!!!

Hi Anonymous, and the usual suspects are:
1.Ignition/Light Key Switch not in IGNITION position.
2.Engine Stop switch in the OFF position.
3.Discharged battery, loose or corroded connections (solenoid chatters).
4. Bank Angle Sensor tripped and Ignition/Light Key Switch not cycled to Off and then back to Ignition
5. Starter control circuit, relay or solenoid faulty.
6. Electric starter shaft pinion gear not engaging or over-running clutch slipping.

the first step is to replace the air filter you'd be suprisied.then the fuel filter .take a test run after that.hope this helps
