Question about Bose & Wave& Music System
Yesterday I noticed the time display was only partial. Attempted to cycle unit on and off with local and remote controls. No response. Changed 9V battery. Still no response. Removed and restored AC power several times. Display sometimes missing and at other times it appears to have every display segment illuminated. Removed upper case and inspected component board. No visual evidence or odor of overheated parts.
You should contacty Bose directly to find out about service. There may be a fault in the power supply, or one of the circuit boards in the unit. This will require proper troubleshooting and parts replacements.
