Horizonal colored lines on screen

is the lines has fix position or changes everytime you open your pc. if its in fix position most likely your graphic gard or chipset starting to fail. i see you have a slim pc a design prone to overheating especially if the vents is clogged with dust. if the line location is changing the flex cable going to your screen loosen up, you can open your pc then unclip, clip the flex.

Tip

Tips for greater Pictures

Position The Horizon

Where you place the horizon in the shot affects what exactly is emphasized. to indicate the land, use a high horizon. To show the
sky, use a low horizon.

look for Details

A shot of an entire sequoia ranking just looks like a tree. But a shot of simply the tree's wide base, with a person for scale, is greater robust.

Use Proportion

think the frame divided into thirds, both horizontally and vertically, as getting Tic-Tac-Toe board. Always centering your subject can get dull. Use the Rule of Thirds to add variety and interest.

Add Depth

Add tips that could guide the eye. If your subject is a distant mountain, add a person or a tree in the foreground. A wide angle lens can exaggerate this perspective.

Consider Variety

involve landscapes and folks shots, close ups and broad angles, better weather and bad weather. Take personal shots that remember the ? friends which you meet, your hotel/campsite, transportation, street or hiking signposts

Include People

Photographs solely of landscape and rocks are enjoyable to take but often dull to look at. If there's no one around, include yourself using the self-timer

The petcock on the 1980 GS1000G has no markings other than "Pr." To get gas flowing to the engine should the slot in the petcock be vertical or horizonal?

center poistion is on, PR stands for prime (gas always flows) and bypasses the vacuum controlled portion of the valve, the other poistion is Reserve. center is run and onlu delivers gas when the engine is cranking over or running, thias is the normal position u leave the tank selector in..

No signal being received, basically had some work done and builder knocked the sky dish and broke the holding clip, got replacement clip but still saying no signal.

It was knocked out of position...an easy fix. You need to download the correct angle. Note angle from vertical or horizon and direction based on degreesSouth/East ect. Do this satellite position based on your address. Then you will pick up your signal.

I have a 2002 Montana and the wiper blades end up in a vertical position when they are turned off. They otherwise work fine. They pause properly in the horizontal position when running in intermittent...

If the wipers end up in the vertical position and they are the HIDE type usually its the park mechanism mounted on top of the wiper motor that the linkage attaches to, there is a small spring loaded lever on the bottom of this device that wears out and fails to activate the PARK position proccess when the wipers are turned off. When the wipers turn off the motor reverses and the lever is meant to catch on a tab and compress the mechanism pulling the wipers to the park position. Only thing I know what to do is replace this mechanism, ($150. new 25. used)

HORIZONAL LINES

that is because you have a defective vertical deflection circuit, check all the caps and if that does not solve the problem replace the vertical output ic

I installed an "Audi 6-disc changer" in my 2001 A6. The installation went without a hitch..connection and bracket mounting was fine... it performs as expected except it seems to be extra...

Most CD changers for cars have setting for the internal springs. The springs are postioned one way for a vertical mounting and 90 degrees different for a horizontal mounting. If this is incorrect, set for vertical when it is mounted horizontal or vice-versa, the unit will skip very easy.

I am not familiar with the Audi changers, I repair only aftermarket changers like Kenwood, JVC, Sony ect. but they all have a mounting direction setting on the sides of the changer. It can be adjusted with a flat head screwdriver. Try looking for this setting on the outside edges of the changer.

I hope this helps and a "FixYa!" rating would be appreciated if this free help solves your problem.

Thanks and let me know if I can be of any more assistance,

Dave

I noticed a bright horizonal line about 1/4 in.wide centered in the middle running from side to side. Audio is fine. This just all of a sudden happened it was not gradual. it is due to vertical section failure. please minimise bright to protect crt. solution. solution 1 check supply to vertical section. 2 check for ic failure in vertical section 3 check vertical output section parts. Is it fixable or dumpable?? Please HELP!!!! yes it is fixable it is common problem not major one. good luck.
