Question about Amazon Kindle Fire HD
No, you really really don't.
Just to be clear, there are no user serviceable parts inside any Kindle product.
If it has frozen charge it for at least 30 minutes from a wall socket.
try resetting it by pressing and HOLDING the power switch on for a slow count of 30 - ignore whatever happens and keep the power button pressed ON.
Now drink a cup of tea and just let things calm down.
now tap the On button as normal.
If you have done this a few times and nothing improves knock yourself out and hit it with a hammer or something. The battery will not abe the problem and you will only waste money trying to replace it, but it's up to you.
