Try to turn on the Keyboard.
There's a switch in the right side of the Keyboard.

SOURCE: Battery problem,...

I had this problem with mine so lets start by saying there are solutions!!

Solution 1:

Logitech state the battery cannot be replaced. It CAN. You can purchase the exact battery from ebay. Its a simple case of taking the orange backing off, removing all the screws (not forgetting the one hidden under the bluetooth address sticker) and popping the keyboard apart. From there, flip out the battery, pop in the new one, put it all back togeather and voila.

Solution 2:

Now if you dont care about your warrenty or it has none (as does mine) there are two contacts on the back of the keyboard which connect to the charger stand. Having took the keyboard apart, solder a wire onto each contact and then solder onto the battery connection contacts taking care to match red to red and black to black. Every time the keyboard is docked it will charge until you remove it. One other thing to note is that the low battery will keep flashing at you now and again (according to logitech you have about 10 mins use left until battery gives up) I have been using it for over 5 hours like this and its still going strong.

Enjoy.

Can you change batteries on a Logitech solar kb folio?

You won't be replacing batteries on Logitech's newest iPad keyboard case. As its name implies, the Solar Keyboard Folio uses light to maintain its battery life, which is two years on a complete charge, claims Logitech. Two small solar panels integrated into the Folio use either indoor or outdoor light to keep the Bluetooth keyboard juiced up.

How do I connect my Kensington folio via Bluetooth to my iPad 2?

I did not see any other comments, but to address the pairing issue between your Keyboard and iPad.... If your product is the actual KeyFolio Expert Multi-Angle Folio.

The KeyFolio Expert Multi Angle Folio and Keyboard uses a solid plastic frame to attach to the iPad. It's easy enough to slide the iPad in and out of the frame but the design means the case only works with the 4th and 3rd Generation iPad's and is not compatible with the iPad 2 or the original iPad.
Connecting the KeyFolio Expert case to your iPad is a simple process. Simply hold down the power button for over five seconds to put the keyboard into pairing mode and go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your iPad to connect it. Enter the four digit numerical code on your iPad when prompted to finalise the connection.

If you do not fall under that product, try these steps - they shuold be the same for most of Kensington's Products:

Connecting the Bluetooth keyboard to your iPad is a simple process. Simply turn it on, press the connect button in the top right corner of the keyboard and go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your iPad to connect it. The iPad will prompt you to enter a four digit code using the keyboard to finalise the connection. (the code should be 0000)

I bought a second battery (standby as I am going to Africa) for my Inspiron, charged it for about 10 hours until it indicated it is full. However, the power light has been flashing red since. Even when I...

Flashing red indicates that the battery is non-functioning (at the end of its ability to hold a charge), although as it is a new battery, this would seem a bit odd.
Did you buy the battery new or 2nd hand, was it a genuine Dell battery? My suspicions are that if this is an aftermarket battery and one which was not compatible with the dell, then there might have been some damage done to the laptop, causing the old battery not to charge. I'm assuming you are using a genuine Dell charger

Flashing red light on the Kensington wireless mouse base

I still have the manual for my mouse.  Model number 64321.
When this mouse was manufactured it used NiCad batteries which developed a memory much more than the newer batteries.  The older NiCad batteries needed to be conditioned occasionally so Kensington provided a way to do that with the charging base.
The red light is for indicating discharge status of NiCad batteries.
The red light will flash quickly when you press the battery discharge button on the bottom of the base.  This indicates that you now have 5 seconds to place the mouse in the charging base for battery discharge.
The red light will flash flash more slowly when the battery is being discharged.
After the battery is fully discharged, the base will then charge the batteries.
It should be noted that very few manufacturers of products that utilized NiCad batteries provided a "battery conditioning" feature.  Kensington was unique in this regard.  Battery conditioning allowed NiCad batteries to have a longer useful life.

Now maybe you can help me....  I lost my power supply that plugs into the USB connector.  If you have yours, can you tell me what the output voltage is and what the polarity is of the inner pin.  This will be marked right on the power supply base.
I plan to just get a generic power supply from Radio Shack, but I need the voltage value and polarity.  Until then, I can still use the mouse, but it won't charge.  FOr now, I'm just using standard AAA batteries.
Thanks.
