No. You must use a 5V ac adapter/power supply.
But are you certain that you need 5V ac to power your modem ? Where are you located Jane ?

I have a Hasee e130 notebook and it does not recharge the batteries. First I thought it was the battery but the same battery recharges on other notebooks. How can I solve the problem ?

when you charged the battery on the other notebook did you use your notebook's ac-dc power adapter unit. I would try using the other notebook power ac-dc adapter on your notebook or get a voltmeter set on DC voltage 20volt range and test your notebook AC-DC adapter produces the required DC voltage of the Notebook requirements.

What do they mean the input voltage range between the wall outlet and this adapter is ac 100v-240v, and the adapter's output voltage is DC 5V,2A

A lot of new computer hardware will accept regular 110-115v like most people have in their homes (USA) or high voltage 220 (mostly used for washer / dryers) or industrial use. Like in a factory. This unit accept both without worries of over loading. Some may even have a switch to swap back and forth. It actually only uses 5v and 2amps. Meaning a single 110-115 power strip can handle many plugs, because of the low voltage.

What is the voltage for the ac adapter for aopen ms805 speakers treker88@gmail.com

The most likely DC voltage for that system is either 10V or 12V. You can actually test it safely by starting from 5V and work up to 9, 10, then 12 until the lowest will work. It should also be shown on the output of your AC Adapter

I have a Prolink wireless 900 Mgh wireless speaker system. I have just moved and have lost the plug in adapter for the transmitter. could you tell me what the adapter voltage is into the transmitter. ...

I have Prolink 900 MHz wireless loudspeakers, probably the same as yours. The transmitter is labelled on the bottom as "CAN 2579 102 1811, UNI-ART PRECISE PRODUCTS LTD". That transmitter comes with an AC/DC adapter whose output is labelled as 12VDC, 300mA, with polarity positive outside, negative inside. Note this polarity is the OPPOSITE of what is typical for AC adapters.
