The top oven not maintaining heat why plenty of reasons depending on age could be a weak ignitor, bad temp sensor, is the oven light on if so oven stops heating after 30 seconds any oven maintaining set point temp will brown and if left long enough burn

Why does my oven on fan only heats sometimes

you must have the temp set to low, so if you cook a big thing it will get warm, & a small item wont heat it up at all, because the fan air can circulate better, which keeps the temp down.
get the manual & turn it up. if thats not the problem, then the thermostat is on its way out.

I have a Thermador wall oven (POMW301/02) when bake is selected, heats up very slowly until the pre-heat light goes off. And then the oven light stays on but it doesn't hold the set temperature. While it...

Due to the nature of the self-cleaning cycle heating the oven to above normal temperatures what likely happened is that the temperature sensor went bad. The sensor is a small rod about 6 inches long and 1/4 inches wide that sits in the back of the oven. You can remove it from the back side of the oven which will need to be pulled from the wall. Replacing it should solve the problem.

Let me know how this works out for you.

Takes a long time to heat water. Brand new Ge 50 gallon water heater. Once heated it right temp, just a long time to heat it and then won't maintain hot water. Is gas line to small? 3/8 copper line. Thanks

If you are using a 3/8" copper line for your gas, get it replaced ASAP. It will fail. 1/2" Black Iron is required with natural gas. 50 gallons is a lot of water to heat. Look on the heater label for the recovery rate.

Amana first addition oven (approx 10 years old) will not heat

I had a similar problem with my Amana oven, also about 12 years old. It was slow to heat and sometimes wouldn't reach the set oven temp. I replaced the oven igniter on a tip that it wasn't drawing enough current to open the gas valve solenoid. That did the trick. It starts immediately and heats to the right temp. Good luck. Joe

The pilot light in my natural gas oven is lit. When I turn the oven on, a secondary pilot light is lit under the oven burner but the oven doesn't heat. Is it the thermometer or the thermocoupler or...

The secondary pilot you speak of should envelope the end of the thermocouple. That heats up the fluid inside, which expands and forces fluid to open the oven gas valve. If the end of the thermocouple is enveloped in the flame, but you have no oven ignition, you will have to replace the oven valve. It is the part the temp knob is attached to and also has the thermocouple attached to it.
