Make sure the thermister is attached firmly to the fins in the back. The boards on a Norcold can be reset a service center familiar with this process is your best bet. It takes disconecting the board and then shorting it out best to leave it to some one who is familiar.

SOURCE: norcold fridge not cool enough

Yes very likely the cooling unit has stopped working. You need to do a bypass test by unplugging the thermistor on the inside of fridge. It will be attached to the fins. Give it 6 hours or so and check your temps. If they are the same the cooling unit is bad. If the temp goes down the thermistor or circuit board is bad. If you need more assistance feel free to call.

SOURCE: frost forms in freezer, blocking vents so temp in both freezer and fridge is warmer than normal

You have an issue with the defrost system, either the timer, thermostat or heating element. Probably the defrost timer refer to the manual to find it. If you don't have the manual check the makers web site for a parts breakdown. You should be able to put it into defrost manually by turning the knob and see if that helps. You may need to do this sevral times as it only stays in defrost for a little over twnety minutes and run cycle for 6,8 or ten hours. If the ice build up is heavy then twenty minutes may not do the trick thus the need for repated defrost cycles. If it does the trick replace the timer. If not check the thermostat and heater element.

Norcold 1200 fridge only getting to 50 degrees will work fine for a few days then get warm if i shut it off for a few hours and turn it on again it will cool for a couple of days then problem retur

Sounds like your defrost cycle has failed. Since the unit is running fine for a while before warming up, this can rule out your circulating fan. Your defrost cycle is operated by a defrost timer or your motherboard depending on the age of your refrigerator. When your refrigerator goes into defrost, it turns on an electric heater that melts the ice from your coil in the freezer. When your defrost time or electric heater fails, it allows ice to build up on the coil in your freezer which blocks airflow which causes your cooling compartments to not maintain temperature. Hope this gives you an idea what to look for and a guide on where to start looking

Norcold model 1200LRIM. Unable to select AC or LP mode. Auto is only option. Fridge frequently quits in Auto mode. No error codes. Display just goes blank. Battery connections are good; voltage is good....

Try to unplug it from the battery a few hours and then plug it back in and see if you are now able to select the AC or LP mode. There has been a recall on the 1200LRIM, The defect is a potential cooling unit leak caused during AC electric mode operation. Click on the link below to read more:
