SOURCE: I have a DV 9700. It wont power up. No lights

It may be the dc connector on the motherboard is broken. Take it to a repair shop and ask them to confirm whether it's the dc connector or your power supply that is faulty before ordering any replacement equipment.

Unable to get into safe mode

hi there !

-try t drain everything out of the computer first; remove the power adapter then remove the battery; after 1 minute try again; if problem persists run diagnostics
--while the computer is off, press and hld the "Fn" key then press the power button at the same time to start the test; note down error message then consult manufacturer for the code obtained. if no errors found it is a windows problem; you need to reinstall windows on the computer

cheers!

My jvc gz-mg57ek 30gb hd eviro camera blank screen

i have the same problem, from what i have been able to find out is that the CCD chip has either burned out, or become damaged in someway, the later models of our camera can get this problem fixed for free but sadly the offer does not extend as far as us, comet will charge £95 to fix our problem and jessops will send it off to HQ for £25 before giving us a price for fixing (manager estimated around £100) i think its going to be cheaper to abandon the camera and upgrade to a newer model as sad as this is. if you know of anywhere that will repair for cheeper please message me back.

My car was in storage. battery was removed for charging. now car unable to take emissions test. how do you reset computer

computer will re-set itself after approx fifty restarts. To avoid this and loosing radio settings in the future, you can attach a small power supply into the lighter socket (available in many parts stores), or if you are really careful you can use a jumper battery attached to battery leads, but if you accidentally ground + terminal anywhere, you can do a lot of electrical damage!

does it starts with the blue screen and do you have a 3d card and the monitor wire is attached to the 3d cardv socket " it happens with your 3d cards gets burst due to over heating " so now remove the monitor wire from the 3d card socket and attach it to the mother board socket

Intermitant power

You are describing the symptoms of a classic cable short. My guess is the power plug cable on the A/C power adaptor or the socket it plugs into is damaged. Try holding the plug still and wiggling the power cable back and forth, chances are that will recreate the problem. -If you have basic tools and solder experience you can purchase a replacement plug, cut the old on off and attach the new one. -If you don?t have the time or inclination to fix it you can just purchase a replacement power supply. If it doesn?t appear to be the power (or if you?re not using the A/C power adaptor) it may be the USB cable or its socket. -Try a new cable. -Try a different USB socket; they are surprisingly easy to damage. Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this post.
