Yep, that will do that. Non genuine cartridges are notoriously un reliable and this issue is extremely common. We only recommend the use of genuine ink cartridges for all printers. Try removing the dud cartridges and put in the genuine ones. if that fails, you may have distroyed your printhead, in which case, go and replace you printer, it is cheaper than getting it fixed.
