SOURCE: red LED on honeywell r6660d

The problem is that the 2 units are "not speaking to each other". this could be caused by low batteries or a loss in signal caused by a powercut or an objection in the way of the 2 units.

first you need to turn the power off to the r666od (or otherwise known as the HC60NG) for 10 secs, then turn back on. then hold the grey button in for 15 secs. release then hold in for a further 5 secs.

go to the honeywell cm61 press the off button. hold temp up. temp down and prog 1 in for 3 secs until the dipslay goes to INST. at this point release all 3 buttons then press the i button until a beacon starts flashing.

this is now the end to your problem.

N.B the reason the green light was on is because the man override button will have been pressed.

hope this helps

SOURCE: require room thermostat for ferroli combi boiler

Get a Ferroli wireless programmable room stat. City plumbing supplies can get hold of them but you'd be looking at approx £130. Part number 30800009. No wiring involved, the receiver connects to the boiler pcb. Had same problem but now fine.

SOURCE: biasi boiler not heating house thermostat can be set on 80 house will not get warmer than 55

time for a more thorough troubleshoot. check to see that the boiler actually operates when commanded. check to see the circulation pump operates. maybe a valve is closed.

I have constant 24/7 humming noise (combi boiler i think) the boiler itself is not humming but seems to be in the pipes? mainly kitchen & upstairs, there is "hot spot" for the noise as you go...

If you turn the power off and it's still there then it's not anything electrical in the flat.. it could be transferred noise from another source. I would try locating the sound by listening through a tube to locate the sound more accurately. This method of sound source location is used by old fashioned mechanics listening for engine noises and is very good at finding them..
good luck !

I couldn't find the exact match for your boiler but I have included the website for you. Since you have the product right there, you will probably have better luck. If you can't find what you need, then use the contact info and give them a ring.
