At the bottom of your Facebook page you'll see the 2014 Facebook copyright notice. Next to that is the language name. Whether you can read it or not, you should be able to find that since "Facebook" will be in English. Click the language name then select your flavour/flavor of English.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: All Facebook pages now in wrong language

Go to Accounts (that will be in top right corner of the page and will have an arrow by it). Then go to Account Settings (that is the second line from top, two lines below your picture and name). Then go to Language (that is the fifth tab from the left, and third from the right). Here you should see a drop-down menu with selection of languages, select English and you're done.

Suddenly my Facebook looks like Russian. How to get it to return to English?

you may have changed your primary language to russian.
regardless of the language used, you may still be able to find the setting to change it back, since the locations of the settings would not have changed..
if you use google chrome, you could easily ask it to translate the page automatically back to english for you.. and then navigate to My Account - Settings - Language - & choose english as your primary language.
Alternatively, this link shows how to change to dutch/german, but is included as a guide to getting to the language settings page only. http://www.itechnobuzz.com/freebies-f-secure-antivirus-2011-1-year-free-license-key

My face book is in Chinese how do I change back to English ?

Facebook is available in 70 languages.
The language settings can be easily changed a few clicks and your whole page will be displayed in the selected language.
This can make changing it back difficult at first glance.
If you've inadvertently switched languages, going back to English is easy if you know where to look.
Log in to your account and follow a few simple steps that work regardless of the language you've changed to.

Visit facebook.com on your PC language settings are not available on the mobile site.
Enter your email address and password into the fields at the top of the page, then click the "Log In" button.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page.
You will see the word "Facebook" followed by a copyright logo.
Your current language is displayed next to the copyright symbol.
Click on the language a popup window appears, displaying all the available languages.
Click "English," then select your desired version of English.

It likely happened if you opened your profile in a russian version of facebook. what you can try to do is make sure your in English (www.facebook.com) Facebook then change your username. log in, go to accountr settings, change username. see if that doesnt work. :)
