Reset the clock. Press "Clock" and the correct time, using the number pads. Press "AM/PM" if applicable, and press "Start" or "Clock" to confirm.

  • 3 Press and hold "Clear/Off" for three seconds if the timer will not function or is blinking when you touch the pads. This will release the "Child Lock" feature. Make a new touch pad selection.

Only certain buttons of microwave oven touch pad work.

    Hi, welcome to Fixya!

From your question, I suspect the fault is from the control board of the microwave. This is why some buttons on the the touch-pad are not working.

Have the control board replaced and the buttons that refuse to work will start working again.

I hope the above is clear. If not, please let me know.

    Regards.

Microwave won't work - put in food and press START and it beeps and says "PROBE" and nothing comes on. Tried all cancel buttons, even reset the fuse.

Please check if the pads are working to indicate that the touch pad is outputing data to the processor. If there is no menu selection, clock settings then the pad could have worn off.
Also check to disconnect the magnetron , the main capacitor and the connections to the main processor board.

    Touchpad is not working

    Hello :

If touch pad has gotten wet, then allow to dry for several days. Avoid spraying cleaning liquid near touch pad.
Check for insect infestation. Insects (cockroaches most frequently) will appear under clear surface of touch pad or under readout window; they like the warmth of the circuit boards.
Place window mesh over vent to keep insects out.

    good luck .

    please rate !

Lights under micro do not turn off all of the time but some of the time. Finger sensitive pad does not register 0, 7, 8.; most of the time.

sounds like your touch pad is bad. if its under a year old. call for warranty service.if not you may need to order a touch pad. its not too hard to replace. remove power, take tho screws off the top of the micro holding the top vent cover on. remove the vent cover. above the touch pad is a screw, remove that screw and lift the Assembly up and it will tip out. be careful because you don't want to damage any wires. you can label and disconnect the wires to completely remove the Assembly.good luck!

First check all door switches are properly working. If they are ok , the defect may be in the key pad. You need to replace the key pad.
