I've tried everything, can't get sounds for in coming texts

go to your settings. click on sound. here you should find a notification option and set which ringtone you would like. make sure that you go back to your sound settings or caller settings to make sure the volume is actually turned on for incoming text messages. the reason you might not be getting them is because you have it default in your phone to keep them silent. just browse your setting options for sound or calls where you will find a "volume" option. select that and slide your notification sound over to whatever level you like! hope you found this helpful!

I cant seem to remove the predictive text from mt text messages.

While writing a message, go to
Option > Predictive Text > Set the Predictive Text to Off.

Or simply
Go to Menu > Tools > Settings > Language > Predictive Text (set it to off)

I cant switch predictive text on

For you to switch to predictive text or T9, just go to your "Text Message" window, when on that application window please select on your "options" button on your cell phone.

You'll have a pop up with scroll options that would either say 'predictive text', just ok the T9 or "Predictive Text" option and you would be able to have predictive text switched on.

Kind Regard

I've never tried this, but it might help. If that number is in your recent calls list, one of the options is to reject that number. Might work for texting too.

What phone? Most phones will default to what you last used... But if its an older phone you may have to always change it yourself.
