Where can I find my email certificate

Good evening,
You need to go to ssl server someone like entrust, or encrypt, global systems, etc.
They will ask you to prove your email, by sending you a link and other formalities.
Once you are established as who you say you are, then you get an encryption certificate that makes it do you and your email recipient are the only ones that can read that email.
Cheers, Rob

My Pan. novel says I need a security certificate....what is that?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client-typically a web server (website) and a browser; or a mail server and a mail client (e.g., Outlook).

What does 'SSL communication cannot be performed a handshake error has occurred in SSL' mean?

The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol uses a combination of public-key and symmetric-key encryption. Symmetric-key encryption is much faster than public-key encryption; however, public-key encryption provides better authentication techniques. An SSL session always begins with an exchange of messages called the SSL handshake. The handshake allows the server to authenticate itself to the client by using public-key techniques, and then allows the client and the server to cooperate in the creation of symmetric keys used for rapid encryption, decryption, and tamper detection during the session that follows. Optionally, the handshake also allows the client to authenticate itself to the server.

If you get the error you can do the following
1. Go to your internet options
2. Go to security settings tab
3. Click on Trusted Site's
4. Add https://THE NAME OF WEBPAGE YOU A GETTING ERROR FROM
5. Go to Advanced tab
6.Scroll down to USE SSL 2.0 and USE SSL.3.0 make they are both selected and click Apply button at the bottom

How safe and secure is Damai website?

Damai.cn possesses the SSL security certificate that can ensure the safe information transmission between you and Damai.cn.
What is an SSL Certificate?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security agreement designed and developed by American Netscape Communication Company. It applies the public key technology to assist transmission and communication in the following aspects:

1. The confidentiality of information transmission;
2. The completion of information exchange;
3. The non-repudiation of the information;
4. The authenticity of the trader's identity.

SSL technology will automatically activate a "lock" signal on the browser,the "https" in the address bar indicates that an encrypted link has been established between the web server and the browser. During this time, all confidential information entered online by the User, such as credit card number and transaction password cannot be viewed, stolen or modified. The encryption strength of SSL depends on the browser of the customer and supports an encryption of at least 40 digits.

Where do I fine SSID Name & Encryption Key

If you are trying to set up a router and need to establish the SSID name and WPA encryption key, you will need to sign into the router using the routers IP address. Input the userid and password, then go to the wireless network setup page. Here is where you enable wireless operation, establish the SSID, and generate the encryption key or passphrase.

If you are trying to connect to someone else's wireless network, you need to know their SSID so that when you do a search for available networks you can determine which is theirs. Once that is established, if they give you the encryption key or passphrase, you can attempt to connect to their network. With the encryption key or passphrase, you will not be able to connect.

I just purchased a viper 5902 remote start/ alarm for my 2010 toyota corolla sport and dont know what bypass i need to buy.

Well, that depends on which type of key you have. Is it a smart key, a 40 bit encryption key or an 80 bit encryption key? The DBALL or the FLCAN will work on the smart key. The DBALL, PKALL, FLTB1 and FLCAN will work on the 40 bit key. A word of advice: if your vehicle has the 80 bit key, use your valet key and a universal key box to bypass the immobilizer for the remote starter. Finding the the IMI/IMO wires in this vehicle can be tricky and time consuming.
You can tell the differnce in the keys by looking at the metal stem. If a dot is present, it's a 40 bit. If a G is present , it's an 80 bit.

I dont know my wpa key to get online

Use an Ethernet cable between the network-port on your computer and one of the LAN ports on your wireless router.

Start Internet Explorer.
Connect to the web-server "inside" the router.
Run the "Wireless Networking Setup Wizard", to establish an SSID, choose an encryption-level (use 'WPA'), and to establish a password/pass-phrase/network-key.

Use the SSID and the password to connect to your newly-configured wireless network.

WEP Encryption

It is recommended to enable encryption on your wireless router before your wireless network adapters. Please establish wireless connectivity before enabling encryption. Note: Your network will slow down and wireless signal may degrade when enabling encryption due to the added overhead. Step 1 Log into the web configuration of the router by opening up a web browser and typing in the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1). Step 2 Enter your username (admin) and your password (blank by default). Click OK . Click the Home tab and click the Wireless button on the left hand side of the screen. Step 3 Select Enable next to the WEP radio buttons. For WEP encryption select 64, 128, or 256-bit encryption. For the Key type select HEX. If you have an option for Authentication type, select Shared Key. Step 4 Select Key 1. Enter a Hex encryption key that you make up. The length of the encryption key will depend on what you selected under WEP Encryption. 64-bit encryption 10 characters 128-bit encryption 26 characters 256-bit encryption 58 characters (available on DI-614+ only) The encryption key is HEX, meaning 0-9 and A-F are valid characters. For example, A4583DFF1A (64-bit HEX key). Step 5 Click on the Apply button then click on the Continue button to save your settings. Note: If using non-D-Link adapters, please refer to the manufacturer´s documentation on enabling encryption.
