You don't specify where it is that you are reading "TBW", but In this context it is likely to mean either mean Total Body Weight or Total Body Water.

I don't understand why you have no manual or instructions. If my comment above does not help you, I suggest you visit the manufacturer's web site.

does your scale have an orange SET button and a button with a triangle (or arrow) below the display?

Try this... make sure the scale is turned off. (and you are not standing on it)

Now press the SET button.
2 arrows should appear on the display. use the arrow/triangle key below the display to make changes and the SET key to choose.

If you have the same scale as me, you are prompted to chose Adult/Child followed by Male/Female, and finally input your height in feet/inches by pushing the arrow/triangle key until the display shows the desired height.

Press SET to finish and step on the scale like you usually do. It will now show your weight followed by your body fat %.
