Question about LG Televison & Video
I have had my 42" lg 3d smart tv for 2 months and I have a magic eye connected via the antenna so I can watch sky tv however each time I turn it off now when I turn it on again it has lost the stored channel and I have to retune. It is fine when I retune and it finds the channel no problem it just won't keep it stored. This was not a problem when we first bought the tv it has only started now. I have tried turning it off and removing the aerial and searching for channels to clear it and then plugging it back in and retuning again but it still loses the stored channel next time I turn it off. My free satellite channels through the tv itself are unaffected. Please help!!!!!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

it's the aerial, tv has nothing to do with channels. it's the signal that carries the channels. i'm pretty sure if you had it hooked up to a cable box, you'll get all the channels, so i'm sure your tv is fine. i would double check on the aerial and positioning the attenna has some factor into it.

Hi - I have the same problem. Also in Cornwall LG were not interested in helping because the TV was 3 1/2 years old. There was a possible fix in the end offered via LG at a cost of £180 + vat - a hardware update that might or might not work but I was not going to pay that so I now watch my LG 42 plasma via a £25 digi box from the CO OP. LG must have sold 1000's of these Tv's so when the digital switch starts in the more populated areas of the country I exect many more web postings.

Is your location prone to power surges or failures? Try plugging your TV into an uninteruptable power supply (UPS) (battery backup and line voltage conditioning). If that doesn't help, I would be suspect the unit has a problem with the internal memory.
I hope this helps.

if your old tv was an analog one you need a digital converter box to change to the new signal.. new tvs wont recognize the analog signal..temporarily you may be able to use your laptops' dics player as a player for your discs..
