Question about Pioneer Audio Players & Recorders
Random play won't play. Single slot will play sometimes. Unplugging will usually help with the single slot play. Generally, not working.

SOURCE: CD player won't play random
the most likely problem is a weak or failing optical pickup. try a cleaning disc first there may be dust on the lens. do not use any liquid to clean the lens. remember this is an optical system if it can't focus properly or "see well" it can't read.
