2008 navigator, wrench symbol on dashboard

Several autoparts stores like Autozone, Oreilys and Advance will scan your vehicle for free and tell you what Codes are present. The scanners are different, so the store would need a scanner that has the ability to diagnose the traction control system with the ABS.

The Traction control works with the ABS to limit wheel slip. Intermittent flashing of the Traction light can occur, sometimes the brake pads are worn and do not respond as well as they should. The system counts the RPM of each wheel, applies braking and can interrupt power of the engine.

See what the scan shows.

AUDI A3 1.6 2007 CLUSTER

There is a wrench icon near the dashboard. Push it when the car is stationary (it won't work when the car is moving) and you will see the other functions.

A wrench is showing

The definition of the warning light should be in your owners manual.
Normally a yellow wrench warning light is a problem with the engine controls, and a red wrench involves the drivetrain.
The warning light tells you there is a problem and the computer needs to be scanned to get the trouble codes to proceed.

Need a digram of taking a dashboard out of a 2005 impala

  • Turn the engine of the Impala off and open its hood. Use a socket wrench to remove the negative cable from the battery.
  • Remove the four screws securing the driver's side kick panel, using a Phillips screwdriver. Use a slotted screwdriver to pry out the kick panel. Remove the passenger's side kick panel the same way.

  • Remove the metal plate from the driver's side of the vehicle under the Steering wheel by detaching its two securing bolts with a socket wrench. Pull the plate off to reveal three electrical connections. Unplug the three connections.
Glove Compartment
  • 4 Open the glove compartment and empty its contents.
  • 5 Remove the two screws at the back of the glove compartment.
  • 6 Pull the glove compartment off of the dashboard.
Center Dash Panel
  • 7 Remove the two screws securing the radio and the two screws securing the A/C unit with a Phillips screwdriver.
  • 8 Remove the four corner screws of the center dash panel faceplate with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the faceplate off.
  • 9 Use a slotted screwdriver to pull the radio and A/C unit toward you.
  • 10 Reach behind the two devices and disconnect their connections. Pull them out of the vehicle.
Dashboard
  • 11 Remove the two screws underneath the steering wheel, using a Phillips screwdriver.
  • 12 Remove the two screws on the lower right side of the dashboard, using a Phillips screwdriver.
  • 13 Remove the 10 mm bolt from both side panels with a socket wrench.
  • 14 Remove the defroster grille by pulling it out. Remove the four screws along the top of the dash near the windshield.
  • 15 Pull the dashboard off the Impala and detach the two electrical connections. Lift up the dashboard and remove it from the vehicle.

What is the spanner symbol on the dashboard for

Hi, Michael here is how to reset/adjust Engine Service Interval (Wrench icon)
Upon selecting this item, there are two possibilities. If the Wrench icon is active, you will have the opportunity to clear it--proceed directly below. If the Wrench icon is not active, then skip over the next section to "CHANGE ENGINE SERVICE INTERVAL".RESET WRENCH ICON:
1. The display shows CLEAr and no.
2. Press and release SCROLL to alternate between no and yES.
3. Select yES if you wish to reset the wrench icon.
4. Press and hold SCROLL for 4 seconds.
5. WS appears in the display.
6. Release SCROLL.
If you selected no, you will not proceed to the next section; the display will revert to the Service Setup Menu.
CHANGE ENGINE SERVICE INTERVAL:
To get to this point, the Wrench icon must not be active or you just now reset it, as above.
1. The display now shows either CLK or km/h (or Mph).
2. The display now shows the number of hours between Wrench icon reminders. The factory setting is "0044".
3.The 2nd digit of the hours value will be blinking:
In addition, the display also shows the Oil Can icon above the word "OIL", and the "CLK" indicator is present. The presence of "CLK" indicates the interval occurs based on time (this can be altered for the Wrench icon, but not for the Oil Can icon).

What does the wrench warning light on my dashboard of my 2007 civic mean?

it usually means you are due for an oil change unless the last place that changed oil did not reset the light. Some Odometer displays will show you the oil life when you switch through the displays.

Just bought my Honda accord 2007 but it did not come with book. When the wrench sign on the dashboard is lit what does that mean. It also shows oil......15% does it need oil change?

The wrench on your dash board means that maintenace is required. if your oil is at 15% it is time for an oil change and the tech that changes your oil will reset the light.

I have a yellow triangler light showing while the car is running

I suspect that yellow triangle lamp is your emergency flasher switch. If you were to press the switch (triangle) you would find the flashers start working and if you press it again they would stop.

What does the orange wrench light mean on an 07 hybrid? it looks like a maintenance light but i have no idea if this is right or what type of maintenance it's suggesting.

The dashboard will show an orange wrench when it comes time for the car to be serviced. The wrench means that the car needs an oil change and the A1 image means that the car needs a tire rotation.
