Broad blue line and flickering picture on lg tv

There is a broad blue line on the left hand side of our tv and the picture is flickering black and white. We have just moved using a removalist company. Could something have happened?

This problems it is the causes by the board that call the T-CON decoders board,this board sit at the bottom in the middle of the LCD screen panel.This T-CON decoders board is started dying to causes these problems or the fibers opotic cable connections is loses or frail damges to causes slightly signal tranmittion from the T-CON decoder board to the LCD screen panel.Just used the tv,when the problems is there for good.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decoders board for the replacement.

SOURCE: LG DR4810 black and white lines at top left and side of Picture extending accross middle of picture window. How Do I remove these?

I think you should take it back, cause! defective laser pickup, or the video processor, and possibly the audio/video cable, "replace to be sure"

Hi, I had a similar problem with my plasma tv.
I fixed it buy taking off the back panel then at the bottom there is another panel. Under that panel are the ribbon connectors for the vertical picture.
Looks like your 2nd ribbon has the problem. Maybe it has come losses, not sure but pull the 2n ribbon out and plug it back in. Or if you pull out the first connector ad leave it out then turn the tv back on ad see if that leave another plank part of the tv. If so then u have found your problem.

Westinghouse LCD TV - broad vertical green and blue lines
try to go to the factory reset and see if that helps. If not, you can then check your connection. if you use component (red, green and blue for video and red and white for audio), make sure all the color matches when you plug it in. if everything have been checked then you need to replace the main board and it should correct the problem.

Vertical lines problem
On your blue tube there is a crt broad that may have a bad capacitor 4.7uf 250 volts most likely it can be leaky not able to hold correct charge also it might have video ic on same broard breaking down, this will cause your problem unplug crt broad from bottom neck of tube turn set on see if problem goes away if so then it means you have problem with crt broad or it could be your tube.Hope this helps you out!

Can you tell me how to adjust the picture size on the above tv? I switched it off one evening and when i switched it on again I was getting a broad black line at the top and bottom. When I put on the teletex I can see the tv picture down the right hand side of the screen. I have been through all the buttons on the remote control but am unable to fix this.
