Usb problem hello plz help me my kingston 4 gb and now it is 0/0 bytes showing drive is not formate now errorr is there is no disk in drive g insert a disk and then try again when im going to my computer right click and go to menage and then go to disk managment so he show me disk 1 removale h no media and after im going to run strt cmd then he show me no media please if u have any idea the tell me.

opening pen drive, it shows 'please insert the disk' & it shows 0 bytes & while trying to format it shows the same message again , i am using 2 gb pendrive of trancend.

Plug it into another usb socket and you should find it works, Sometimes usb sockets and drives can become corrup.. by right when you reboot you machine it will revert back to normal

Usb not formate 0/0 byte show


The USB device internal directory structure goes corrupted and you'll need to format it to make it working again. On the disk management window, right click on the problem USB and choose to format.

Be clear that formatting will erase each and everything on it and the data might become unrecoverable. Though, you can try some professional utility like Stellar Phoenix Partition Recovery (http://www.stellarinfo.com/partition-recovery.htm) and see if it might able to recover 100% of all the stored data.

Please insert disk into removable disk


have you tried other a different flash drive of something like a usb charger etc? If it works then then the problem is with the flash drive, if not them its with your USB port

I can not format my usb and the total capasity


Format the Data Traveler:

Warning! All data will be lost.

1. Insert the DataTraveler into a USB port.

2. Right click the Start button via the Windows Start menu and slect Explore.

3. Locate and right click the Kingston removable drive.

4. Select Format from the pop-up menu.
Note: Always use standard FAT for drives 2GB and smaller. Always use FAT32 for drives 4GB and larger.

5. Click the Start button. A format Removable Disk Warning will come up. Choose OK if you want to format your drive. After the drive has been formated you will receive a Format Complete box. Click the OK button.
