Question about Sony Cameras
My Sony camera code no is DSC-WX50. I can shoot photo and see this in camera. when i connect with a computer, I cannot see the photos but I can see the videos. After removing the camera from computer, there is no any photos to see and by this I loose my so many important photos. How I solve it and is there any possibility to recover my photos?
First: don't do anything with your memory card till you have recovered the pictures, just remove the memory stick from the camera.
There are programs to recover pictures on a memory stick.
Use an external memory card reader, where your Memory stick fits in. Connect the reader to your computer and try one of the free programs on one of these sites to see if your pictures are still on the card and if they can be recovered.
Some free programmes, will show all pictures you can recover, but only allow you to recover a limited amount. Just try another program. I once got a free program, Recoverx, with a memory card I bought.

If your computer has a SD card reader, you might be better off putting your memory card into your computer and just copying the data.
Have you made sure your iPhoto is up to date? Perhaps a new update caused this problem.. Maybe you should try an older version of the software. Also, you might want to try other software. (I think you are on a mac?), you might want to try the software that came with the camera, if it works on your computer.

You need to go to MENU, roll down to SET UP
if you roll down you would see at top
"Camera1", "Camera2" and "Memory Stick"
go to Memory Stick and roll down to COPY
go to ALBUM...
and then she ask you...All data in Album will be copied. Ready? touch OK ....
Now you create a folder with all the photos in the memory and you can download it.
I hope this help you...Liz Annette PR

I think you have a wrong setting, go into the menu and go through it and it says USB connect or something to do with PAL/NTSB i don't have one in my hand.

SOURCE: while importing photos into iphoto, some photos were lost. They are no longer on the camera or in iphoto. Other photos for the same batch were imported and are still on the camera. Can I recover the l
Try a photo recovery program. This one has a good reputation.
