SOURCE: tv LCD RCA model L32WD22 what ic replacement can I use?

servicios,
Close the the unit up as you had before opening. Take the unit to a service centre and have them fix it. They don't have manuals to repair so, when they say, "We can't fix this" you take the work order and call1877-297-8391 and they will get you a new tv

SOURCE: 8 solder ic number for tcl falt tv

Can you please check for any jammed buttons on the remote and/or control panel? Try switching on the TV manually, while removing the batteries from the remote. If you notice same problem, the area to be looked into is around the system control area: like dry solder, leaky/dry capacitors and this should be done only by a qualified service technician.

SOURCE: where is Tcon board located ?

Tampatec is a lot of fun to watch... and can get you inside your set with a lot of confidence... I would recommend adding a WRIST-STRAP... (and more caution).

I do adore that he manages to BLOW out a collateral board because he does NOT use (ANTI-STATIC) WRIST STRAPS

He does run through a lot of internal topology of where the various parts are located... I am assuming your question was actually deeper than where your board was located

SOURCE: tv wont turn on there is just red led light not blinking

Kolachalam Venkatesh... Hello,

Sorry about your TV set... MY Guess: Power Board Failure.

Call your repair service... +$$$$ and you are done!

~~ There are no user serviceable parts inside (still curious)...

My last TV (circuit city... free) "repairman" destroyed a perfectly good set before my eyes... This "repairman" was as agile as the Samsonite Gorilla but not as charming or smart. Circuit City ended up replacing the whole thing but it was an EXPERIENCE.

A stable power light (RED not blinking, in your case) means your set has NOT PASSED any self tests...Not even tried to power up.

I don't know anything about LG LCD... but these flat panel sets all SHARE pretty much the same design. If you are going to attempt a repair yourself... I have found some clever video... "trouble shooting"... I will insert at the bottom... while terribly cute... I do adore that he manages to BLOW out a collateral board because he does NOT use (ANTI-STATIC) WRIST STRAPS... These procedures involve measuring voltages on powered equipment.

If you don't keep photographic tracking of your steps (take notes)... and put ALL the screws/wires/boards EXACTLY back where they came from... and wear a wrist an ANTI-STATIC strap (or appropriately ground your hands)... very carefully peruse EVERY CONNECTION... you ABSOLUTELY can turn a MINOR MALFUNCTION into a MAJOR CATASTROPHE... and get ZAPPED in the process.

Possibly a LETHAL consequence... HOWEVER
it is easy... & you can keep it at a safe level... (power off).

Just listening to your description... My GUESS is that your main power board... has a bad capacitor.

STATE OF THE ART ...Your set has 2 large circuit boards...
(and more little boards... Possible but not PROBABLE).

The HOOK... If you are COMFORTABLE with the idea of going inside your appliance... you probably OUGHT NOT TRY.

Getting it repaired "professionally"... has no guarantees.... EITHER and the only GUARANTEE I will give... if you go in carelessly... You WILL NOT succeed in fixing your set.

Screw tracking... I use a piece of cardboard... draw a rectangle representing the tv... and another where all the jacks, video, audio... etc... and a circle for the power cord. Take an awl or ice-pick and poke a hole on your drawing everywhere there is a screw... one or two at the power cord... and another in the middle of your jack panel... If all the screws are the same you just wasted two minutes... have the strangest set on the planet,,, and will be able to find every screw... even though your cat just ran through the middle of everything.

Just for fun... look for that blistered or "swollen" capacitor.

In 50 years of professional fiddling with every circuit pack in creation... I saw one soot mark...
(otherwise... yep... circuit board good/bad... change it).

Check out eBay... but DO NOT rely on anything but your own eyes... for that CIRCUIT BOARD number. Watch for seller references and SHIPPING COSTS. I have gotten some great boards... and from the PROFESSIONALS... clipped pretty good...
So make sure you use your MOST POWERFUL credit card... Bank of America made the the CLOWNS at SAMSUNG PERTS USA stand up and deliver a FULL REFUND for a "new board"
(obviously not) ... they shipped which was broken (entire corner gone)... $179. - after that I decided to try eBay... got a great salvage for $40... works fine!!

Replace the whole board... put back the case...
(take the screws out of the cardboard... and fit the gently back where they all belong.

When the set powers up after initial power SEQUENCE...
remember to set your SOURCE correctly...

Still fails... put it all back as original... and guess... MAIN-BOARD... Maybe?

It's called an iterative process...

Good luck!

Shipping...??

Cute video (pay attention to power interlock
(I don't recommend live power work... Done it: needed to & have the scars to prove it))...

I have a 42PG20-UA and suddenly the speakers started making a squealing or screeching noise when I turn it on. The TV still comes on and sound plays but there is a definite issue as sound is muffled.

The audio section of the LCD Tv consist of class D audio amplifier. Normally an Smd ic. Its would be difficult to replace the ic without having SMD reworkstation . In your tv the audio output ic is faulty. that's why its making noises. Better to go for a new board.

Why does the screen turn white after 10 minutes?

Probably the t con board have problem. the power regulator ic on the tcon board make this problem. As ist an smd ic you have to go for a new tcon board, because its not possible to replace the ic with normal soldering irons. you need smd rework station for that purpose. And also on more thing in some tvs the t con board is integrated to the lcd panel. if so its not possible to replace only the t con board , you have go for a fresh lcd panel. it would be a costly repair. because the panel is the costliest part of the tv. Any why check the video to understand which one is the t con board. if you find one in yours then try to replace it with new one. hope your problem will solved

What are the eeprom codes for jvc tv lt-42x579, eeprom m16

The number of the memory IC will be printed on it. Usually, it will be in laser printing. When replace it, be sure to replace with exact number printed on it; otherwise, it won't work.

Retuning not holding memory

Hello
The memory IC in the circuit of your Grundig is not working. There are two resons for this fault. The first one is, of loss of voltage to that IC. This IC is a non-volatile type [that is, even though the supplied voltage goes OFF, the memory cells inside it will hold the last position memory, will not loss it]. This is a very samll IC, of 8 solder termiminals and can be located very near to the main system control IC. It is drived and memorized by main system control IC, by Serial Data, Serial Clock signals. Fault to this IC is quite normal to most of the TV, irrespective of brand and model number. It is very cheap to buy too, and can be bought from most of the electronic sparepart selling shops at your town. It has a number printed on it, must be noted before buying a new one. In some models of Grundig Tv, this IC will be an SMD [Surcace Mount Device] type. In others, it will be of norma DIN [Dual In Line] type. If the IC soldered to your tV is of fromer type, it cannot be replaced by normal soldering techniques. If it is of second type, it can be desoldered out and can be replaced with a new one. Look whether the type fitted to your TV's circuit is of second type [DIL]. If so you can do the work by yourself at home, provided you must ahve a concept of desoldering and soldering; a good quality DC soldering Iron, and an antistatic desoldering pump, and a very good quality digital multimeter, like Fluke or so. If the type is SMD, no other way other than get this set repaired by any well equipped service center of by the Authorised Service Center for Grundig at your town.
Check the board and confirm the type. Use of a hand glove is recomended when repairing this system control section, as the main system IC is very static to external voltages; even the voltage generated at the tip of human fingers may damage them. There is no other fault with your set, except this IC. The component is cheap to buy, but I don't have an idea about the service charge at your country.
If you haven't enough knoledge and skill to do the work, just get this set repaired by it Authorised Service center.
If you want anymore assistance from me, feel free to get me by Fixya. OK.

My Coby 32 in tv won't store my channel memory. When I first got the tv, it stored the channel memory but now I have to reprogram it every time I turn it on.

Hello

When autotuning the set goes throughs all transmitting channels, shows to be receiveing all channles, but seems to be tunes indefinitely, and no channels are locked, the memory IC inside the set has got damaged. In normal case, the TV will tune to all available channels at that tiime, in air or through the cable, whatever the case may be, tune up to last channel, and will stop, and will display the first channel it has got. Then we have to make adjustments on channels.
The memory IC i stated above is a small IC with 8 terminals, and can be located very near to system control Ic, at system control section. In some sets, it will be SMD type [Surface Mount Device], and in otheres will be of DIL type [Dual In Line]. If it is a DIL type, it is very easy to replace. If it is SMD type, proper care should be taken when replacing it, not to damage any track on circutit board and nearby components.
Open your TV, locate the IC and desolder it out of the printed circuit board, go for a same type and number, replace it. This will solve your problem.
OK.

I have a proview lcd monitor model pl866s .What is the size of the power connector for the 19vdc @3068a psu?I have an extra psu with the correct voltage /current .Thanks Robert.

For the above LCD Monitor, I actually saw a small spark at the top part of the main board once the power input jack was connected. It prompted me to the exact location and when I check the SMD ceramic capacitor (that generated the spark underneath it) with analog meter set to X 10 K ohm range; it actually developed a slight short circuit. Replacing only the fuse and the SMD ceramic capacitor solved the no power problem in this 19" LCD Monitor. This Monitor uses the inverter IC (OZ960G), A1084-25CM (2.5 volts voltage regulator), AMC1117-3.3 (3.3 volts voltage regulator), ADC IC (MST8136B) and CPU IC (MYSON MTV312MV64).
