How do I exit out of the uefi bio utility mode it keeps going back to the same screen when I exit

When it boots back to the uefi bios page there should be some settings tab/s that you can change the boot from uefi only to normal the only other things i can suggest if you dont want to go into those settings to far for whatever reason , when it boots into your bios from uefi mode press f10 or whatever the defualt settings button may be for your bios, make sure you save and exit then aoll should be fine , FAIL THE ABOVE , ITS TIME FOR A BIOS UPDATE !!

Beep Codes?

Hi,

This board has been known to have some issues, the Asus' PEG optimizations aren't fully supported by some video cards like the Gigabyte GeForce 6600 GT. One example of a fully supporting video card is the Asus Extreme Radeon EAX1900XTX.

If possible, try using a different video card (one that supports
Asus' PEG optimizations - PEG Link Mode overclocking feature; PEG Link for single/dual graphics cards ). Or you may want to try and disable the PEG entirely.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turn up or should you need further information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Help forgot bios password for asus X55C-DH31

Why do you want to access the BIOS? You could reset the password by removing a small battery from the laptop ( if you don't know what you're doing I urge you to take it to someone who does know) if that doesnt work, sorry you're a bit stuck

Boot on sata

I found the user manual here :

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4p800-se/e1886_p4p800_se.pdf

Your problem could be in the bios. Press the delete key repeatedly while booting up to enter the Bios Setup Utility and check these options :
IDE Configuration - as shown in the manual at chapter 4 page 14

Onboard PCI IDE Operate Mode - Enhanced Mode
Enhanced Mode Support On - S-ATA
Configure S-ATA as RAID - no

and also

Boot device priority - as shown in the manual at chapter 4 page 33

set your Sata drive as the 1st boot device

For additional info, refer to the manual in the link above.

Did this solve your problem?

If you can access the bios battery try resetting the bios by removing it . leave off for about a minute then replace. This will not affect your files.

Asus A8N SLI RAID showing both drives as "degraded"

This problem usually occurs if: 1) The computer never finished booting 2) A sticky button on you keyboard (F8 or Control Key for win98) 3) Less Memory for windows xp and ME. Try checking if all the memories as well fixed on the board and are being read. 4) Corrupt system files. 5) Incorrect bios configuration (Try changing the bios settings to optimum performance of fail safe to confirm that. All the best.
