Left hand door not closing easily anymore. lubricate the hinge?

It could be the fridge is tilting forward.
Up turn the two front screw beside the door to make the fridge tilt backwards, or lower down the two back screw to allow the fridge to tilt backwards.

Then the door will automatically close by the weight of the door itself!

Alignment door

check the door restrictor band in the front section of the door as it probably has pulled the panel out of alignment or broken a section out (near the hinges). Re-align the door by adjusting the hinges on the body panel.

Picture adjustment

if your vertical section of your mother board has a vertical adjustment trimmer, adjust it to reach your desired vertical size..if doesn\'t have, increase the resistance of the resisitor only connecting from cold ground to the negative of the e.cap and the positive pin of e.cap connecting to the line 1 of the vertical focusing coil. the common value of the resistor you would focuse is 1ohm, try add with .5 or 1 ohm depending with vertical size result.

How do i keep a bedroom door from swinging closed on it's own?

If it's not a breeze blowing it closed, then the problem is that the hinges are not quite vertical, so the door is actually falling closed. After confirming that the hinge screws are not loose, check for vertical with a good level in two directions----- Open the door 90 degrees so that the hinges are open 90 degrees. You want to check that the hinges are vertical to each other on the door jamb and on the door. You might be able to make a minor adjustment by loosening the bottom hinge from the door jamb and placing a shim (like a piece of cardboard from a notepad or a credit card) behind it. (But this might cause a misalignment of the latch with the strike plate. If it is not vertical in the other direction, you will have to move a hinge on the door frame. Or you could just use a door stop.

Door adjustment for a 96 f350 dropped about 1/2"

Here's the solution: You might want to park it under a tree and tie a rope to the door to pull it up when loosened.
ADJUSTMENT Fig. 1: Door hinge adjustment 84920001.gif
Fig. 2: Rear door hinge adjustment, F-350 Crew Cab 84920002.gif
NOTE: Loosen the hinge-to-door bolts for lateral adjustment only. Loosen the hinge-to-body bolts for both lateral and vertical adjustment.
  1. Determine which hinge bolts are to be loosened and back them out just enough to allow movement.
  2. To move the door safely, use a padded prybar. When the door is in the proper position, tighten the bolts to 19–25 ft. lbs. (25.5–34.5 Nm) and check the door operation. There should be no binding or interference when the door is closed and opened.
  3. Door closing adjustment can also be affected by the position of the lock striker plate. Loosen the striker plate bolts and move the striker plate just enough to permit proper closing and locking of the door.

The bottom door is not closing right. I can slide

It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if it rises up when opened.

Leave the door shut and let the magnetic gasket hold the door in place. Put something between the bottom of the door and the floor to hold it in case it slips.
Remove the bracket holding the pin and hinge assembly taking note of order of removal of parts. Slide new cams on. You probably need two.
COLD GARAGE
Not all refrigerators are insulated the same and not all condensers are in the same place. Your cold control is monitoring the temperature of the refrigerator section and is designed to turn off the compressor to keep things from freezing in that section. If it stays cold long enough outside in your garage the cold control thinks its cold enough and won't turn the compressor on. A makeshift closet to hold a little heat the unit generates will probably help.

Amana SXD2252W Freezer Door does not close all the way.

Check for things on the freezer shelves sticking out and contacting one of the door shelves before it can close fully. Sometimes a maladjustment of the door can cause the gasket on the hinge side to stick from friction of the rubber on the metal case of the refrigerator. Try a tiny bit of cooking oil on a paper towel and then wipe down the vertical gasket strip on the hinge side. If friction is the cause this will cause it to close better.

Before performing the above check the condition of the hinge side vertical gasket strip to ensure it's not "bowed" inward from too much friction. That condition may necessitate replacing the freezer gasket.

Loose hinges

Hi,

I met this problem almost all brands of laptops. Depending on how the hinges being built (return spring, embedded lock notch, etc.) Some are easy to adjust and some need more precise tightenings due to wear and tear of the lock notch. However you can buy hinges too at ebay just specify the brand and models as well as the LCD screen part no. replacement. Hope this gives you hint.

Best regards,
Rosener
