What is the belt part no. for a hoover elite rewind?? model no. UH71009RM

If you look up the Hoover page for the UH71009 (the non-remanufactured Elite Rewind), there are 3 different belt model numbers listed. One part number is simply for a 2 pack of the belts. See http://hoover.com/products/details/uh71009/elite-rewind-bagless-upright/ . Click on the Parts & Accessories tab.

I believe the belt part number is 38528058 , http://hoover.com/parts/details/38528058/sra-r-b-562932001-belt/ .

I hope this helps.

The part number for the single belt is 38528040 or a 2 pack 40201190, the belt number should also be on the model number sticker and these can be ordered online or at a local vac shop

Belt

Un plug unit, turn unit over, remove screws on panel covering the belt. ,first start belt on large pulley and then start it on small pulley turn brush by hand to wind the belt on. Google the model number or go to Wal-M and look in their "bags and Belt" book located next to the Vacuum cleaners.

I have a kenmore stylite retraxx vac. That needs a belt.does any one know what style or number belt I need? Please help

Go to www.searspartsdirect.com and enter the model number of your vacuum. Then you'll be able to find the specific belt which goes with your model. If it's the Model #21637020700, then the belt is part number 1CKD208000, and costs $3.29.

The power belt is loose when i reinstalled a new belt. what am i doing wrong?

The power belt is normally tight to stretch to assemble. If the belt is loose when assembled, it appears to either be a worn out belt, or the wrong part number belt. The data label on the cleaner should give the part number of the correct belt.

I have a bissell 7.5poweramp uprite vacuum with a broken belt for the brush. What size belt would i need to fix this?

Not sure with having the model number, there may be a number on the belt, like style 7 etc. If no number, get me the model number and I can find out.
