SOURCE: what part number oregon chain do i need for a

Hello Sam;
I cannot find anything by Deere (probably an efco 152) about your saw. Oregon does list some particulars here:
Oregon Bar & Chain Selector
http://www.oregonchain.com/pro/lookups/selguide.aspx?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG
I input:
John Deere; CS52; *see below; All (0.325"); All (0.050"); All (yours is likely green - low kickback).
*16" - 66 drive links (the part that fits in the bar).
*18" - 72 drive links.

If your saw does not use either 66 or 72 drive links I suspect the bar, drive sprocket, or drive sprocket and bar nose in use are not what the the saw was originally supplied with. Any local chainsaw seller/mechanic given your chain as a pattern can fabricate one in about 5 minutes. Often a local chain is less expensive (no shipping).

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.
Lou

John deere gator 6x4, made by Peg-Perego, is a childrens 24 volt ride on. after ten to fifteen minutes of use cuts with an associated alarm.as if over loaded.

there are 2 possible causes
1-- battery failures--have the batteries load tested at a battery shop--multi meter testing is not adequate as the reading has to show the battery capacity to handle load
2--- drive motor overloading problem-- problem in the motor bushes/bearings-- water or dirt in the motor or seized drive units -chain axle bearings etc

If traction drive belt is turning you should check the input drive shaft on top of trans to see if it is turning as well,Traction drive belt is suspect but could be a stripped out input shaft pulley.Make sure the machine tow lever is not pulled out,rear of machine by tow hitch.Also pull rubber caps off of both axle ends to see if one the axles is turning free inside of rim,if so remove wheel and replace axle key.
