Question about PENTAIR WATER Pentair Sta-Rite DynaPro 1HP
I have a Sta-Rite Pump model M8E-7 Motor# C48L2FC4 3450 Rpm HP1 115/230v. We are having to prime the pump almost every other day, it might last week. Is there something I can do to make it keep its prime? Or is there something I need to change out?

You might have a leak in the foot valve, you can try installing a check valve several inches before the intake to maintain a prime, or check and clean/replace the foot valve.
If the pump ran dry, check the inlet fitting. the pump can get hot and melt pvc piping connected to it, causing air to leak in the inlet side.,
