McCulloch chain saw What is the oil to gas ratio

50:1 - 50 parts Gas to every 1 part oil.

If you have to error one way or the other, it is better to error a little on the side of having more oil. Sears has a Craftsman chain saw 50cc that is/was made by McCulloch and it's fuel ratio is 40:1. The lack of lubrication(oil) in fuel will lead to engine damage, too mush oil in fuel can lead to low performance. Hope this helps.

Ihave a mcculloch chainsaw model#60013413 ser#11-011402 would like to know what the model is so i can get new oil pump

The model is usually on the side of the chainsaw, where the recoil pulley and pull rope are. Gonna be pretty hard to find McCulloch parts. PartsBuggy.com has some, but not sure about an oil pump.

Chain oil pump does not work when pumped. Eager ****** MAC 100 series

Your Eager Beâver model number is 600016. There are many prefixes and suffixes. The one below I used when repairing a similar problem with my Mac 110 (earlier version of your saw). Both the automatic and manual oilers work now.

I get the best results for new McCulloch parts here:
This is a little complicated so I am going in small steps.

M & D Mower
http://www.m-and-d.com/parts.html
Click “Illustrated Parts Diagrams ON LINE”
Click “Click Here for Parts Lookup”
Changes to “Select OEM” Window reads “Briggs & Stratton ▼” Click the arrow and select “McCulloch Power”
Click “Gasoline-Powered Chain Saws”
Click “18-600016-27”
There is a shipping and handling charge from M & D (about $9) if all parts in same container only one fee.

See “General Assembly” print
Item 33; pn 85557; Oiler body; most likely failure, on bottom of Item 31
Item 31; pn 217755; manual oiler piston; It pulls through the top of the tank. I ordered a new one but got Item 36, they were the same pn, I complained, seems they fixed it.

See “Powerhead Assembly” print
Item 07; pn 219989; oil pump assembly
Item 04; pn 217168; pump/bar pad connector (hose)
Item 05; pn 217167; pump/oil tank connector (hose) The new one was to long, I used the old hose. I have an earlier model.
Item 17; pn 110653; O-ring

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. Thank you for using FixYa and Good Luck. HTH

My 110 model chain saw sucks chain oil back into the piston cylinder. When I remove the spark plug and pull the cord it spews out red chain oil. What is the remedy

Did you adjust the oiler? To far CW might cause this. The automatic oiler is driven by an impulse line from the crankcase. If the piston assembly is to deep or has failed there is a direct line into the crankcase.
McCulloch Manuals
Illustrated Parts Lists: (IPLs) are fairly simple, on the underside of McCulloch saws is a black and yellow tag; the upper number (“Mac 110” 600016C may also be a _# instead of letter 600016_03) is the model, below it a serial number (11-18555). These 2 numbers are combined to create an IPL number (“Mac 110” IPL number = 11-600016C). The IPL number can be used to find the correct IPL for every McCulloch parts supplier I have found. If the parts supplier only list part numbers the proper IPL is the source for the part number.

This is a little complicated so I am going in small steps.
http://www.m-and-d.com/parts.html
Click “Illustrated Parts Diagrams ON LINE”
Click “Click Here for Parts Lookup”
Changes to “Select OEM” Window reads “Briggs & Stratton ▼” Click the arrow and select “McCulloch Power”
Click “Gasoline-Powered Chain Saws”
Click “11-600016Letter or YourDashNumber”

Every Oil Pump will eventually cross to
Entire pump assembly:
219989 Kit Pump Assy (Oil) $9.29
O-ring
110653 O Ring $0.75
There is a shipping and handling charge from M & D (about $9) if all parts in same container only one fee.
I have found McCulloch parts here I can get no where else and they are reasonable.

You can download a complete parts breakdown for your saw here using the IPL constructed above:
http://www.mymowerparts.com/pdf/McCulloch_Parts_Service_Repair_Manuals/Gas_Powered_Chain_Saws/
Please see if the parts you need are available here. They were not when I ordered them but it is a nice way to say thanks for providing the IPL. I hope you find this helpful.

Mcculloch eager ****** no oil going to chain

The oiler pumps on Macs are the usual suspect, try this:
Oil System Plugged.
  1. Remove the clutch cover, bar, and chain, clean the bar groove, any holes and passages on the rear of the bar (both sides, consider rotating the bar) Clean the saw oiler hole and channel. Start the saw and see if it oils when revved up. If yes reassemble your saw. If no, continue with 2.
  2. Insert a blunted, hooked piece of wire through the oil filler hole and pull the hose in the oil tank out (clean or replace, difficult to determine serviceability). Work your way through the linkage cleaning and replacing any defective parts as you go. Carefully check the hoses for cracks especially at bends and connections. If equipped with an oil pump it is usually behind the clutch (clutch is a left handed thread). Please make extensive notes & some digital pictures will help during reassembly.
Build an IPL number like this:
McCulloch Manual
Illustrated Parts Lists: (IPLs) are fairly simple, on the underside of McCulloch saws is a black and yellow tag; the upper number (“Power Mac 320” 600021H) is the model, below it a serial number (11-18555). These 2 numbers are combined to create an IPL number (“Power Mac 320” IPL number = 11-600021H). The IPL number can be used to find the correct IPL for every McCulloch parts supplier I have found. If the parts supplier only list part numbers the proper IPL is the source for the part number.

If you can not find parts please repost with the IPL number and I will share my secret Mac parts source.

My chain saw is a Mc Culloch - 2116 AV model bought in 1994-

This is a little complicated so I’m going in small steps.
http://www.m-and-d.com/parts.html
Click “Illustrated Parts Diagrams ON LINE”
Click “Click Here for Parts Lookup”
Changes to “Select OEM” Window reads “Briggs & Stratton ▼” Click the arrow and select “McCulloch Power”
Click “Gasoline-Powered Chain Saws”
Click “11-600035-20”
Click “Powerhead Assembly” Item 1 is the oil pump $9.48
You can construct a veryry detailed parts breakdown for your saw with a little effort. I recommend you do it.
If you were looking for a sprocket earlier it is on the same detail page as the oiler $12.05.
There is a shipping and handling charge from M & D (about $9) if all parts in same container only one fee.
I’ve found McCulloch parts here I can get no where else and they are reasonable.

Given this detail and a little effort on your part she can oil again. Even this thread is closed you can still add to this thread below the advertisements. I'll try to remember to check for additional questions. Good Luck with your project
