Oil pan leaking.

not the easiest job at home but if you have way to lift the car securely and tools not a problem.
first lift the car and secure.drain the oil.remove the exhaust pipe to clear the oil pan, remove the bolts from oil pan. between the motor and transmission is a small plate.remove the plate to access two more bolt from the oil pan. with big flat screwdriver pray the pan on the back will find lip on block and the pan to insert the pray bar or screwdriver.clean the pan from old gasket.clean the block from old gasket. install new gasket on the pan and insert 4 screw to hold in place.on front of the engine is the timing cover drop of silicon will seal the the pan and drive the 4 screw 3-4 turns.install the rest ant slightly tight all across. (ask you auto store for silicone gasket. the old cork is not so good) .tight all screw again.don't over tight.stop if the gasket start to deform out of the pan.replace the oil filter. refill oil and start the car.check for leaks.
good luck.

The tank on the mastercool is beginning to rust out. Is there an available fiberglass insert for these tanks, or do we need to use mesh and mold it in place?

I have wondered this myself. The Mastercool has inherent weaknesses in the pan where the metal sides and bottom tray meet. Of course they are not manufactured with a fiberglass tray because they would last too long and therefore reduce profits for replacement coolers. I have found that the bottoms of the pans rarely rust because they are constantly under water, not exposed to the air, and also accumulate a buildup of minerals that actually protect the metal. It seems that water gets in the seams and along with the exposed metal at the waterline, rusts out primarily in the end corners. I know of no fiberglass insert but am currently working on three rusted units by using fiberglass cloth and resin and filling holes with good ol' regular automotive Bondo. I am particularly making sure that it is totally sealed so not water can get past the pan. It will take a year or two to find out if this works.

I have also considered cutting off the old pan and having a local HVAC shop fabricate a new one using stainless steel or aluminum. This might be a little costly but would save time compared to reworking the old one with fiberglass cloth. I have been successful in obtaining used metal including SS sheets from the salvage yard very economically. The cost would be in the simple fabrication of the tray and any welding required to make it watertight. I might try this down the line if the fiberglass retro doesn't work.

The 5891 has an O-ring seal inside that helps secure the pan when inserted. This seal came out and as a result the pan wobbled back and forth during the kneeding cycle and, I believe, caused the spindle...

Hi, I have looked to expecting to find one but ran into the same thing you did. I didn't try Sunbeam Oster though, maybe they would have one. I buy and sell and repair bread machines sort of as a hobby. If you ebay, I have a cuisinart and your model of sunbeam up for sale this week. If you ebay and are interested in just getting a replacement machine the one I have advertised has never been cooked in so the pan is new. If you ebay just type this Item # in the ebay search bar:
best wishes and happy breadmaking!

My audi hit something and put a hole in the oil pan, i replaced the oil pan and oil and a guy say my main insert needs to be replace or swap the engine im wondering what is the main insert and should i...

he is probably saying that the main bearings are damaged from lack of lubrication. if you didnt shut down the engine right after the oil leak it doesnt take long to damage the engine. I would replace the engine in that case.

I have an oil leak and was just lookin around under neath and found a seal that is square and has been torn and no longer seals it is just behind the oil pan what is that seal

If it is an automatic, and by your description, Behind oil pan, you mean toward the back of the vehicle, and the fluid is red, sounds like your Transmission Pan Gasket. They are flat and sometimes they squish out the side of the gasket area. Easy to replace that and filter, BUT very Messy as the pan will hold 3~4 quarts of oil and You will spill it everywhere If you are not ready for it. A trans shop can offer Filter flush and fluid for about $79.. in about an hour. Good luck, Bill

The motor is running and spinning but when I insert the pan, the arm does not spin. I can't spin it by hand from underneath seems to be locked up.

You are is locked up! The problem is the sealed bearing in the pan is broken and will not turn. Usually this means replacing the pan. If you are lucky you can try soaking it in warm water. (don't submerge the pan...just fill it) a few times to see if it will free up. Good luck!

Is it possible to get replacement parts for West Bend Bread and Dough Maker Model # 41026? I need a new paddle to fit over the rod in the bread pan.

I found you a link to the replacement parts for your bread machine. It looks like they only offer the following part:

P36-297D Bread Pan with Knead Bar
Hopefully this will help. Here is a link to that page:

Missing insert pan for Hamilton Beach Roaster oven model 527

I am currently selling a triple buffet server by GE. It is new and in the box and says 'fits most 17 and 18 qt ovens. I bought it to use when I borrowed a roaster oven, but ended up never using it. It has 3 compartments, enamel on steel. It would take at least $11.00 to send and I would like $15.00 for the insert. If interested, answer this.
