My speakers do not work but my subs do.

Good day sir, hi, there reason why speakers don't work could either be the folowing:
  1. you speaker voice coil is burnt, to test, you need to get the door speakers out and locate the terminals, prepare a 1.5 double AA battery, use this to test you speaker. connect a wire from the negative of the battery to the negative of the speaker, and the positive battery to the positive terminal of the speaker with a series of gentle taps, you should hear clicking sound. if not replace the speaker.
a9b085b.gif Do it on the other door speaker.

2. check your speaker line from the amplifier to the door speaker.
3. check your power amplifier for loose and improper connection.
4. check your power amplifier itself. Thats it.

Its a little work, visit your local electronic repair shop if your speaker still won't work.

I have a chrysler lhs 2001, and my car has 6.5inch speakers in the front doors. for some reason i cannot get them to play sound. the speakers are fine and the wire's are still pushing power, but i dont...

Yes, you might have an amp in your way. The speaker wires could be going to an amp under the dash. the best way is to run you own wires to the speakers this way you will be sure of the connection.

Installation of Parrot hands free car kit - bluetooth

In the parrot kits I've seen, they insert a relay to switch the audio to the phone. This only works with 2 speakers generally. Your vehicle either has dedicated amp channels for each of the 3 speakers/door or the installer tapped into the wrong point. If it has individual amps for each speaker, they may need to force the amp to shut off to get it to mute the audio.

Constast cycling sound from my stereo onlt its intermitent

If the other speakers play after the door speaker wires are disconnected, the problem is likely a speaker wire shorted to the door. If the vehicle had OEM amps and you didn't bypass them, that could also be a problem.

Disconnect the door speaker wires from the amp and check for continuity from the speaker wires to ground. There should be none. Also check the resistance across the speaker wires. They should read approximately the same as the rated impedance of the speakers.
