I have a Ryobi mitre saw EMS 1442L that has a stripped output assembly gear. According the parts listing this part is no longer available. Does any other model part fit this?

it may be worth investigating if later driven and pinion gears will fit the shafts of your unit
It is a way that ryobi has of making older unit obselete
if you research the gears by shaft size , number of teeth diameters thickness etc you may get something but look for matching gears and not just the stripped gear
you may get gears from another manufacturer/model to suit

How do I find the part number for the starter gear

Try this site:

Get all the info off your equipment (labels or metal tag riveted onto), so you have the info you need to "drill down" through the site to find your particular starter.

If the window motor makes noise but the window doesn't go up or down is it because the window itself is track?

Most likely the plastic part called a Regulator is broken. This part has the teeth that mesh with the gears. The drive gear could also be stripped; you need both parts to be good for a working assembly. If either is broken, you get the problem you have.

A glass shop can do this repair for you. Sometimes depending on the Make of car, there are special sized rivets you need to replace to join the Regulator to the window.

Please rate my info.

Model No MH6150MXQ - 0 Turn table will not

Hello- The motor has a plastic gear on the shaft that turns glass tray. These can crack or slip off the shaft and not engage the slots on tray. Check to see if gear is cracked or stripped. It may just be loose. Anyway, this part is less than 10$, so replace if it's bad. Let me know if this solves the problem. Have more info if needed-  Thanks- Ed

Motor runs but blade does not move. Sounds like gear stripped or maybe clutch slipping.

It sounds like the spocket gear is stripped, the smaller gear drive may be stripped also. You will need to replace these parts. You can order them online at The part should be listed in your owner's manual. If you do not have an owner's manual you can give your model number and I can try to find a copy for you. They also may have a parts break down Master Parts website. I hope this helps you!

Only Meade will have replacement gears -- they are the only ones who sell these parts. Usually they want you to return the telescope for repair. Call them here:
