I have been having the same trouble, I think its to do with accessing secure sites, anyway there is a solution and it works,
download and run dr tcp ( http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp ) and set mtu ( adaptor settings) to 1400. I also changed my mtu to 1400 in the belkin connection set up page.

hi mate, i would just hard reset the router and then you can use the default password that comes with it , below is the link to the belkin hard reset proceed, and i diagram of your router, just hold a paperclip in the reset button for 15 seconds (fig. 10) after its reset you can use the default password the router came with,
here is the hard reset procedure Resetting the Belkin router to factory default settings using the Reset...
the default password should be on the router on a sticker somewhere
You need to configure your router. For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Click on WAN settings and set those settings as your internet service provider settings. Enable DHCP if you want to get ip from router. Clickon wireless settings enable wireless then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router. Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
Try restoring the Belkin back to the factory default by powering up the Belkin and pressing the RESET button on the back of the Belkin for 7 secs. Then connect a LAN cable from the computer to the Belkin, open IE browser and type the configuration IP address and configure the wireless settings ie. SSID, encryption etc. The computer wireless cards will need to be configured with the Belkin wireless settings to allow them to communicate with the Belkin.
I have a Mac Pro and a Belkin F5D 7230-4 Router. The Mac links to the WiFi but will not go on to the internet. The Router works fine with a wired PC and other wireless PCs. I have updated the Belkin with the latest Firmware but it does not help. I have tried powering down the Router and Modem
try going to http://192.168.1.1 default user name and password is admin for both. go to your wireless security and set up security as xbox allows. i think i set mine up with wpa and all i had to do was put the code into the xbox settings after the router page generated an encrypted key sequence.
