I have an error code "insert your Logitech Wingman CD in the CD-ROM drive

I'm trying to delete this program as I have updated to Logitec Gaming Software V.508

This has been a common windows issue. I'm sure that this will solve your problem. You can go to this link, http://tinyurl.com/toshibadvd, download the registry file and run it. After that, just restart your computer and it should be good to go.

If you're not sure and is worried about security since this is messing with the registry, you can just click on this microsoft link where it explains and gives you detailed instructions on how to manually edit the registry and fix the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929461.

This is typically the same thing, the first one is just a shortcut on how to do it. Just a reminder, EDIT THE REGISTRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I have a lg gh22ns50 internal drive.when i insert a cd it works perfectly but when i insert a dvd my dvd-ram drive turns into cd drive.opening it it says insert the disc.pls help

that seems odd if it reads cd's it should read dvd's

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to cd/dvd rom drives right click properties then properties again then tick enable cd digital cd audio for this cd rom device or scroll to dvd regions select the no _ for your specific area
If this does not fix the problem you might try:

you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd then plug them back this should activate the found new hardware wizard or

you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall your DVD/CD then reinstall the driver for this device
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

make sure that the cd rom reader is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the cd drive including electical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or
your drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program
you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd rom then plug them back in or

Hi, is logitech wingman formula force compatible with Sony PL3?

Yes And Know, It works with some games, it is a trial and error, there is a few posts online with games that it works with, I have one and it works with Grand Turismo 5 and Smash Cars, I have not tried it on any others, but it does work on some,

In order for me to help you I need more information. First what is the os you are using ? windows 98 - windows xp - vista ? also do you know what the avaliable ram is for your computer ? ( you can find this is general information under settings ) Have you looked at the manufactures recomened os , ram , and processor speed required to run your wingman ? These factors are essential in figuring out if the hardware will work on your computer.
