Not only tat I purchased it from uae in march in a exhibition. but my serial no shows its warranty exp in last November ? how is tat possible ?I lost its bill also. is there any chance of finding seller of lap top through its serial no ?

you dont need your bill of proof of purchase, just give them a ring and they will ask for the serial number and product number which is located on the bottom of your laptop :)
if you need to they wil suggest sending it in, not to worry they send a courier out to collect it for you they pay all the bills :)

Hi... Colored lines on the screen mostly a problem of video card . Have you tried to test the LCD display or Tried to plug in an LCD monitor to your laptop if the same problem?... If the display is the same with the other screen .Yes the problem is on your video card since it's a laptop motherboard replacement is required for that. Now for the mean time you can try this steps to check if it will change but it is not a 100% guarantee.. 1. Update the Video card driver , If you have the driver disk that came with the system you can update it or look for the exact driver for NVidia or ATI . 2. Update The BIOS . For the Bios update I think HP technical support can help you out through the website which you can download the driver for the BIOS. After the 2 updates check the functionality of the computer if the same issue and it is still overheating mostly a replacement of motherboard (for the Video card issue),Heat sink fan, thermal pad and include AC adapter/power cord this is regarding to the OVERHEATING issue.
