Question about Activision Wolfenstein
When I try to start the game THE SCREEN GOES BLACK

The first thing I would try is to update your video card drivers.
Then run windows update and make sure that all critical updates are applied.
Then I would download the update patches for the game and apply them to see if that had cured the problem.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

could be your video card can't handle the graphics! the game box should have a listing of minimal and optimal video and ram requirements. if the game has a 'set-up' option, try lowering the frame-rate and/or video resolution settings. won't look as good, but may still be playable!

try to uninstall the game, restart your computer, install it again. if it's still the same problem, than try searching newer drivers for your vga device and try a different version of the game
