My tv won't switch on?

Sometimes this procedure will get an electronic device to turn back on. First check that your power cable is seated in the back - remove it and plug it back in if you can just to be sure. Then unplug the power cord from the wall. Press and hold the power button on the TV (don't use the remote) for 15 seconds. Plug it back in and try turning on the TV using the power button (not the remote).

If that doesn't work - try leaving the TV unplugged for an hour or so then plug it back in and try it again.

Good luck.

I have a Model TC32LX70 Serial MX72540116. I also have Verizon Cable. The TV set keeps going off and I have to manually turn it back on. Sometimes it will go off and cannot be turned back on but will...

If the power indicator is blinking on the front of the VIERA, turn off the TV and unplug all HDMI cables that are connected to the TV. Then unplug the power cable from the current power source. Try a different electrical outlet. Remove the power cable from the rear of the TV and plug it back it in (the power cable tab is inserted correctly when you hear a click).
Just unplug the tV from AC powwer wall socket, let it be at theis state for about 30 minutes, replugh the TV only, and check whether the fault rectifes. OK.

Television doesn't turn on sometimes. So I would have to unplug it for 10 minutes then plug it back in so it can turn on.

This might be because of the leakage also. ome of the parts would require sometime to charge up. The effeciency would have got reduced.

Turn your set on. While it is on unplug the power cord. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and then plug it back in. If the set comes on without turning it on you did not leave it unplugged long enough. If you you have to hit the power buttom to get the set to come on you will likely have sound. Sometimes you will have to go into the menu and turn your speakers back on. Also a satelitte reciever or cable bax can do the same thing. Usually you can unplug them for about 30 seconds and then plug them back in and turn them on to correct the problem if they are the cause.
